I just noticed this. If the Cubs are out of it when they play the AL Central in Interleague, will you be rooting for them to lose so White Sox rivals keep winning? I prolly will.

Wow, Detroit is really rolling. And to answer your question, the Cubs should keep losing until Dusty is fired or it becomes clear he won't come back. Doesn't matter who against. But I will say I am hoping the Sox don't win the division.

I still hope we beat the Cardinals and White Sox, though.

ESPN.com had an intriguing poll question the other day:

Which of these teams is most likely to miss the playoffs:

Yankees

Red Sox

Tigers

White Sox

Can't all get in. At least one team with a great season is going to go hom sad in October

Hopefully that team is the White Sox. :)

And if the Indians actually decide to play to their potential, they can be included there also.

You know the Yankees and Red Sox are both going to make the postseason. They have to. I'm pretty sure it's in the baseball rule book that they both have to be in the playoffs.

I'd love to see the 2 largest payrolls sitting in the clubhouse watching the games in October.

Unfortunately we know it'll never happen.

I would rather have the White Sox at home watching October. Whether that means both the Yankees and Red Sox getting in or if it means Cleveland plays well and gets into the hunt, I don't care. As long as the White Sox don't make the postseason.
