If anyone else had hit that ball, the though of a home run would have crossed my mind. But I knew it was Pierre so I knew it was going to be a harmless fly out.

Let's go Ronny. Give us some insurance.

They're using all their clutch hits up today. Well at least they'll hopefully avoid the sweep, which is clearly making Hawk very bitter.

Didn't Hawk challenge Mariotti to a fight one time.

Between that and his "Pierzynski hit Barrett harder" quip, Hawk is not a very secure individual.

My favorite Hawk moments are when the White Sox are losing and he can't even be bothered to call the game. You can just hear him sulk through all the dead air. With the White Sox winning it all, I'm sure he's much happier these days, but probably more insufferable than ever (I make it a practice to avoid listening to him).

BTW, for all of those clamoring for Steve Stone to become GM. Hawk Harrelson is a grade A example of why hiring your announcer to the front office might not be a great idea. This is the genius who decided to move his future Hall of Fame catcher to the outfield. His 1 year general manager stint was an unmitigated disaster.
