it's a shame our team is so sorry, we have one player with consistant power and he has a sore back. the rest of the players are average, average, average. And the transaction wire say we signed Womack to a minor league deal, I guess he is soon to be punch and jude number 8.

I would suggest trading most of our position players somewhere else nut who would wan't them, average, average, average. You know it is easy to be average, average average, but it is darn hard to be this bad. If Hendry won't fire Baker, Mc'phail needs to go, actually the team needs to be bought by Steinbrenner and the whole bunch will be held accountable, but the Tribund company just doesn't care. Why would the Tribune Company sell the Cubs? The Cubs are a cash cow. If they sell the Cubs, they risk losing the Cub games on WGN. Yes the Tribune owes a billion in taxes, but as long as fans are coming, why do they care if they put a good produt in the field.

The Tribune company does care about the Cubs, since they have spent 100 million on them. It's the ownership jobs they made mistakes on.

At this point, the only thing I see the Tribune doing is realizing they can get the same results with a payroll of about $50 million instead, and will just cut what they're shelling out now over the next few years.
