Marshall is having one bad start. It's not a big deal. Maddux's last two starts were bad. We need somebody to replace Hill and Guzman. I think Marshall should stay in the rotation.

hill might be alright. doesn't look like guzman's quite ready.

Marshall has looked better than Hill though. In his last 4 starts he had 25.1 IP and only gave up 4 ER. Marshall should stay in the rotation regardless unless he has a couple more bad starts.

great 2 pitch at-bat for Ram. Gotta be aggressive dudes. Walking's for losers and base-cloggers.

Looks like RAM and the Cubs are already packing this game in. I can see a complete game for Wright today.

I'm guessing the final score of this one will look something like the wind-blown San Fran-Chicago game at Soldier Field this past Fall.

Totally agree. Rookies are going to have bad games. Heck, look at the next phenom Felix H. in Seattle. He's been bad all season. Marshall has looked great except for today. Guzman and Hill need more seasoning though.

Is that right, only 28 pitches in the first for Marshall?

Yep! Not bad.

Yes !! Even with 2 walks in the inning, they only saw 2.8 pitches per batter !!

Marshall will settle down. Marshall will settle down. Marshall will settle down. If you say it enough times, it has to be true.
