According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Cubs are only the third team in the last 33 years to score as few as 12 runs in a 10-game stretch, joining the 2004 Montreal Expos, who did it twice that season.

In some fairness, they gave out an extension to Hendry before this tank job. I don't think they should have ANYWAY, but no one knew it was this big of a mess when they extended Hendry. Now if they still extend Baker, I'm going down to Hendry's office with a baseball bat and/or a pitch fork.
