Nice job, Barry.

Wonder if he'll sit tomorrow.

day game after a night game. I'd say it's more than likely he will sit :)

he sat monday - I think he'll play.

do these idiot fans even care about the outcome of the game?

If it was 2-1 I'd agree...but at 8-1, during the week, I might bolt too.

i understand that, but you mind as well just call them the San Francisco Bonds. That's the only player on the team that their "fans" actually care about.

109 after 8....any wagers as to whether Dusty lets him finish?

Even though its not a save situation, he might go to Dempster just to get him some work at the tail end of a game.

How many Cub fans use to leave after Sammy's last AB?

It's just the way people behave.

yeah that's true. I've never been one to leave a game no matter what the outcome is until the final out. Yeah they probably won't win, but the only reason that the fans were there were to see Bonds hit a homer. They weren't really there to see the Giants win.

If Bonds would've hit a homer, it would've been better than a win for their fans.

Everyone has their favorite player. I don't begrudge people for staying for the exciting player...I begrudge them for liking Bonds...:)

I really hope not. I cannot see the game to judge his body language. If his mechanics are still good and he is not overthrowning I might leave him in.

Z is strong like horse.

yes, then he'll say the cubs really needed this game. I'd use dempster.

and he'd deserve to be fired on the spot.

lately he's been whining about not having Wood and Prior. hint: maybe it would have been good not to have them throw 130+ pitches back in 2003.

he'll go the distance. $20 :)

Since they just showed him giving high 5's in the clubhouse, I'll take it!!! :D
