We would MAJORLY have to blow it to lose today, and I just don't see it happening.

The White Sox gave up 6 runs in the top of the 9nth, so anything can happen.

I get back from the gas station to get a drink, and I come to this?

Holy crap!

HOOKERS FOR ALL!

Leave and never come back from that gas station. We'll stop by and thank you on the way to the world series victory parade.

In all fairness, we were leading 3-1 when I left.

I'll probably get in trouble for asking since the Cubs are winning, but...

Why, twice in a row, has Dusty called for Z to bunt with one out?

Z was a better hitter last year than some of our position players.

Hopefully, 8 is enough.

He's been a terrible hitter this year, just swinging at everything that comes towards the plate.

Stupid question of the day.

Why do they notate innings:

5.1 Cain

.2 Reliever

?

5.1+ .2= 5.3

shouldn't it be

5.3 Cain

.7 Reliver

= 6.0 IP

?

3 outs make an inning. It goes by thirds

Some people are too stupid to do math. So its easier if they designated it "Full innings.Outs from partial inning"

Edit: Also, technically its easier then saying Cain 5.33333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333....

Its just the way things are done. .1 means 1/3 of an innings.

Its confusing at first, but relatively common notation.

I thought Cain was supposed to be a young stud? For those in the know, is he still held in high regard?
I put him right up there with Rich Hill.

It would be way too soon to judge, wouldn't it.

Felix Hernandez isn't really tearing things up yet, either.
