wow, pierre's making patterson 05 look decent.

Corey thus far:

Key Stats

AB HR AVG RBI R SB

65 3 .277 11 14 7

Pierre:

Key Stats

AB HR AVG RBI R SB

126 0 .238 2 18 11

The old change of scenery argument strikes again.

1-2-3 inning? I'll take it.

I still like CPat, I've been keeping an eye on him..........hope he does well.

They're helping out Hill by swinging at the head high fastballs.

so? are the Cubs the only ones allowed to suck at batting? why can't other teams. And they arn't "head high" they are high, but not that high.

I'm happy!

How about chin high?

Amazing what not batting in front of Neifi can do for one's running game (in addition to getting on base more).

Perhaps he is being particularly deceptive tonite. The Giants may be sitting on that big, slow curve, and if his fastball is coming out of his hand the same, they may be loading up and not able to adjust to the speed.

What do you think Hill does with Bonds next Inning, Hit him, walk him, or pitch to him? I would prefer that hill pitch him inside and if he hits him so be it.

92 mph fastball to the ribs, imo.

I'd like to see him work him. Depends on the situation, though.

double, I predict.

Fun drinking fact:

Ordering a "double" at a bar screws you. For some reason that I cannot remember right now, you don't actually get double the alcohol.

Yes, I'm aware of this... but sometimes when I'm hammered the words "double Jack and coke" manage to find their way out of my mouth.

OMG OMG BONDS COMING UP OMG OMG

I'm predicting he hits the cover off the ball a la The Natural. Maybe he hits the lights for a nice fireworks background.
