Shhh...we don't need to start that discussion again. I was just looking at their offense...I'm not that worried about our pitching...we we could score 4 runs on a regular basis i think we'd win a few games.

Burgos has some talent. Stairs would be a nice role player off the bench for any team. MacDougal is good when healthy. And I've always like Grudzy. They've got a few decent players.

 

They have two EXCELLENT minor leaguers that will probably be in the bigs next year. Not enough to get KC back in the hunt anytime soon, but it's a start. Gordon is the real deal.

So if you factor in players lost to injuries, the Cubs are still worse?

The key word was "currently". When the injured players come back, the Cubs will most likely NOT be the worst team in baseball.
