[expletive] RAMIREZ! WORSE CLEAN-UP MAN IN BASEBALL!

Glass half full, huh?

currently, who's worse?

howry and eyre have been really good. sorry for "celebrating" that.

Jeff Kent and Richie Sexson are both doing worse than Aram in the cleanup spot. I already pointed that out.

3rd worse. my bad

So Pierre pretty much single-handedly lost that game for us.

Would Barrett have blocked the plate anyway? No, he would have stayed in front of home like he always does and tried a swipe tag to avoid contact.

If you are looking for a fight from me, you won't get one. I'm fine with Howry and Eyre. This team is bad with them. They'd be bad without them. It's your claim that we should all look at this optimistically. Then you proceed to be a hypocrite by screaming how horrible Aramis is.

At least I'm consistent. :D

716 middle infielders on the roster, and none of them know how to play (except for the one playing 1B, whom everyone thought was the worst). Thank you for the loss, JERRY HAIRSTON, JR. Pierre's arm had nothing to do with that. I can't think of a CF that would have thrown Greene out.
Corey Patterson

Jim Edmonds

Andruw Jones

To name a few

You vs Barrett:

Barrett by armbar.

yeah even though there were 8 other guys in the lineup that could've done something today, but didn't. It's unfair that any one guy is getting singled out for the bashing right now..the whole offense deserves it right now, not just one guy. And it's a shame for the pitching staff to have to throw nearly perfect every game out just to be in contention for a win. Z must feel like he wants to punch a few guys out after this one.

Greene should have been out at second. Hairston took the throw on the wrong side of the bag. Pads announcers have been talking about how both Neifi and Hairston didn't apply tags correctly.

Santo's been railing about that for several days, on all the teams we've faced, as well as on us.

I watched the end of the game. Extra Innings cut out on me for like an hour and a half but I did catch the 9th and extras...

Even with a loss it was still a really good game.

lee or no lee, this offense is horrible.

a gm that has a 100 mil payroll to work with should be fired if the end result is the worst offense in the league. end of story.

25 innings with out scoring a run

2 straight shutouts

4 shutouts in 7 games

There aren't any words in the English dictionary capable of describing how bad our offense is.

38 innings without scoring a run if you don't count maddux's rbi walk (which i don't, for some odd reason)

I'm not knocking him, just the strategy. I think if the throw is close or gonna be late, you can easliy get the guy out by blocking plate like Scioscia to buy time. For some reason, Barrett refuses to do this.

What's Ronnie saying?

something to the effect is coming to the game tomorrow is the only thing you can do with a totally disgusted tone

He sounds like a broken man.

Somedays, I think he's going to die on the air.

I keep saying it's the day the cubs win the ws, but sometimes I wonder if he'll still be around.

Instead ...

eh, I don't want to think about it.

MacPhail needs the boot as well. I get the arguement that the Cubs payroll has increased xtimes over xyears -- but it was his choice to extend Hendry, and MacPhail's track record isn't exactly stellar, either.

I'd prefer it to happen to Joe Buck.

barrett's plate blocking technique is about 592nd on the list of the cubs' problems right now.
