Thats why I hated EI. MLBTV is the way to go!

You act as if being denied the ability to watch this train wreck is a bad thing. I almost want to thank EI for taking the pain away....

It's going to be MLB.TV for me also.

Blanco might be playing because Dusty is afraid Hill will bounce some curveballs.

That's an excellent point. At least now he won't have to worry as much about the runners and can just pitch. If Barrett were catching the runners would be moving all night long.

A .231 CS% isn't that bad considering he caught 5 of Maddux's 6 starts and all 5 of Marshall's starts.

How many runners have attempted to steal on him? A person with a bad arm is going to throw people out at some point if players continue to run because they will get more and more aggressive.

6 of 26.

The point is that Maddux can't/doesn't hold runners and Marshall hasn't shown the ability to do it at this point, either. Runners have consistently gotten huge jumps off of both guys. His arm isn't really that much worse than average, but he gets hurt by guys who get great jumps.

What is the temperature tonight? They leave the roof open when it isn't too hot and the park can be very lively with no wind. My guess if it isn't an oven outside it is open. :D

What do people think about moving up Aram to 3rd and giving him some protection?

"Protection" is an idea that's largely been discredited.

But moving him up in the order could give him more atbats, and it will allow him to come to the plate in different situations, so I'm all for it.
