At what point do you just stop caring. I feel like I care less and less when this offense and Dusty motivated philosophy of aggressiveness, particularly when we fall behind, rears its ugly head.

WOOO HOOO we got Jack Wilson and Dirty Sanchez out.

I'll always care. But I'll also, more often than not, be frustrated too.

Every time I listen or see a game like this I'd like to kick Rafael Furcal right in the stones.

I'd like to drill him in the forehead with an 8 inch screw.

If this keeps up, Dusty will get a ' vote of confidence' by the 24th, and fired by the ASB.

Dusty's not getting fired. His Get Out of Jail Free card is sitting in the dugout with a cast on his wrist.

not going to happen. The injuries will be used as an excuse for the 3rd straight year.

Hey, he took three balls. It's a start.

He already walked once today. Barrett's the least of our concern when it comes to approach.

I hate to say it, but Ronny's our biggest concern in that area. Last time I checked (a day or two ago), he was the 4th lowest out of all qualified batters in pitchers per plate appearance. Ronny takes fewer pitches than Vlad Guerrero.

He's not striking out much is he? Not that that's the be all end all, but he's not swinging at picthes in his eyes or a foot and a half off the plat. His OBP is going to be avg. driven, but everybody already knew that.

I just checked the stats at ESPN.com, for anyone who's interested.

Ronny is dead last in pitches per plate appearance of all qualified batters in MLB. :(

Jeff Francoeur mocks Ronny's plate discipline.

Yea he's part of the Cubs homegrown organization.

(Don't get me wrong I love Ronny, I started his BandWGN, I'm just sick of this hitting philosophy which just gets worse when we get down).

Why is our very expensive setup man pitching in a blowout? Where's Glendon?

We wouldn't want his 5 million dollar arm to get blown out. He's versatile dude and he can help us as a stopper, long reliever. He knows how to do that and he can be really valuable to the team dude. He's been a start, reliever and long relief. Nothing's better than versatility dude. Even when it rears its form in a pile of crap. Ya know, a pile of crap can be versatile, you can throw it at fish when you're fishing to stun them. And that's what Rush needs to do right now. Pretend that he's out fishing and just throw the crap at the fish, dude.

Just got home from class, did anyone already mention that we've been outscored 33-4 in our last 4 games?

Nah. We've all been talking about how nice the grass looks at Wrigley right now.
