Article on Cubs.com says that's Sean Marshall's clubhouse nickname. Anyone know the story behind that?

Big Smooth is a great nickname for Marshall.

Big Smooth!!!! I love that nickname. That was Sam Perkin's nickname in the NBA. Everytime he'd launch a three pointer at Conseco Fieldhouse the whole crowd would yell SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH!!

 

So yeah, Sean Marshall can run with that one. It's a pimpin nickname. 8)
