On 670 the guys said Angelo wanted 6 picks. He lost one in his trade with Seattle, so now he is back up to 6. Still an absolutely foolish idea when he could have gotten a good TE. I hope some good ones are left by the time they pick again.

Its not about taking a TE here. There will be one at 42, whether it be Pope or Lewis. You take a top 20 talent there. Jackson or Jimmy Williams.

 

Justice would have given great depth at the tackle spot.

Yeah, that's a really nice trade by Jerry Angelo and the Bears will be much better for it than they would have with Chad Jackson or Williams. Nice recovery after the Pittsburgh snafu.

Lewis would have been an overdraft at 26. Good move by the Bears. 13 picks til the Bears draft and you still have guys at non-need positions for the Bears available.

 

White, Jackson, Justice (though the last 2 would have been nice), Mangold, Kiwanuka, Rod Wright, Howard, Ryans, McNeil.
