Neifi with the one pitch out we're accustomed to.

Jones with 9 rbi so far this year...you know, he hasn't been good, but he's far from our biggest problem.

I don't think Pat and Ron even mentioned Neifi popped up.

Must have been an implicit foregone conclusion for the listener.

It should be pointed out that Aramis and Jones' doubles were on the first pitch.

It's fine to swing at that first pitch if you get a pitch you can drive.

Not unexpected. The knock on Matty is he's been too patient, but the small zone makes it a good day to be patient. He took two balls, then got a good pitch to hit. I bet he'll do it again.

Murton? I wasn't aware there was a knock on him, he's been hitting fine. He's hardly been too patient, no matter what Cubs coaches say.

I am going to miss the end, bowling for charity at 3 pm CST

How much are they paying you?

Haha, free food though...gotta buy my own beer...can you drink at a Charity event???

If it is for liver disease, prob shouldnt.

If it is for recovering alcoholics, prob shouldnt.

Any other charities and I would say it is encouraged.

So the Cubs have a pitcher on the ropes, and the next two batters decide to swing at the first pitches they see? Interesting approach. Come on Maddux.

Are you guys really ignoring the fact that they "got the pitcher on the ropes" in large part by swinging at his first pitch?

3 straight doubles, and then 2 outs on 2 pitches.

3 doubles on 5 pitches.

sorry for my wording I didn't mean 3 doubles on 3 pitches.

Maddux with a great AB, he should be hitting 7th.

Can I just say that the Stanley Cup commercials with Kiefer doing the voicer over is just startling and scary

Lots and lots of Kiefer voice overs on commercials now.

Man Prince really rebounded from his slow start up there. I hear he's leading the NL in hits now? Not bad.

Perez sickens me in the lineup. He is the complete opposite of the type of hitting team we've been all year. I can't wait to see Jones hit a 2 out double only too have Perez come up and pop up to the 2B on the first pitch

QFT except the 2 out thing.
