for the last 4 days, I have been contiplating a new job. I've had 3 offers. For the record, I accepted my new job 2 minutes before Murton hit is 2 run basehit. God was rewarding us.

No actually Its me who got the win. . I decided to take a drive because the Cubs weren't doing so well. And listened to the game in the car. Just as I was driving that exciting 8th inning came up.

I'm going to take more drives when the Cubs are loosing.

EDIT: I can take a drive every time the Cubs are loosing. Can you accept a new job everytime the Cubs are loosing? :P

You guys are ALL wrong. It was all me. At the LAST minute, I decided to bench Murton and Start Betemit as my utility guy, and of course, Betemit went 0-4 while Murton went 1-2 with 2 RBI, 1 Run, and a .750 OBP.

WTF?!?!

I went to the game with my unbeatable combination of hat, t-shirt, jersey, coat, and/or shorts! It was a given as soon as I walked in and took my seat.

and here I was thinking my level of brooding, bitching, and whining finally reached the point where it was so annoying to my family that the Cubs turned it around for the benefit of family values.

Seemed familiar, didn't it?

A team up 3-0 in the bottom of the 8th with the starter mowing down the opposition, and then the bottom falls out.

It was kind of nice to see. Too bad it was two and a half years too late, though. :x

That's what I was thinking.

Ok we all have to do the same thing tommorow (if possible)

Agreed?

Sorry, I'm starting Murton tomorrow.

I'm calling it. You're fault if we loose tommorow!

It was all me. I didnt watch the game or give a care whatsoever causing the 8th-inning rally. Bow to me.

I noticed we were taking pitches when I was scratching my back, so I scratched back there until I got raw.

And we won.

All hail me!

Ok how many of you people are making this **** up? I mean seriously, scratching your back the whole inning!?

I seriously did take a drive. So it was ME!

Sorry guys, I'm taking ownershi of this one.

Before the bootom of the 8th started I said Murton would get a game tying hit as the sixth batter of the inning. (You ever want to piss off your lady, accurately call something like that)

You can only claim ownership on negative thoughts. It sort of works like reverse psychology karma over the airwaves. If you turn off the game or think something negative, it helps the Cubs you see.

See when I was driving and Barret got that strikeout. I told myself well they walked and the bases are loaded but I'm not letting these Cubbies get my hopes up, I'll just listen. Plus with 1 out and Murton and Jones up, doesn't put the most optimism in my head. THAT'S what did it!

I'll claim what I like thank you. Called the game tying hit, called the batter, before the inning started. I'll be at the Title company recording the deed on my ownership of this win.

Sorry guys. I take credit for this one. Not only was I in the leftfield bleachers, but I bet my friend beers that, if the Cubs hit a homer, it wouldn't be Jacque Jones who hit it. Also it was my friend's birthday. Also he caught a warmup ball from Juan Pierre.

Also, I just got home, and i:"m a bit drunk.

well, i'm takin credit because i was scratching my head, with my legs crossed a certain way, plus i clapped the same amount of times after each walk....it's as simple as that
