Pena is my first choice ahead of Durazo because of his D, but I don't know if the Yankees want to give him up.

Durazo can barely handle 1B, he's played 3 total games there since 2003. Young provides a bat that can play 1B and in the OF, so he has value when Lee returns.

If you are more concern about Eyre being injuried than Lee...then I don't know what to say.

 

Well that is not what I meant. It came out wrong I guess. Yeah, I would be concerned if Lee winds up being out for a long time obviously. I just don't think he will be unless his wrist is actually broken. Eyre being out for a long time would be a major concern though because other than Eyre, Howry, and Dempster the bullpen seems shaky at best. It does not appear that Marshall and Rusch can last much past the 5th inning or 6th inning.

 

But an update says Eyre just has a bruise so now the full out worry of mine is Lee. Sorry to scare people. Yes, Lee being out for a long time would be much worse than Eyre. Sorry.

Depending on the deal he signed with the Yankees, he may be able to get out of it if another team has interest.

 

If Lee is out for an extended time, there probably are some options out there if the Cubs decide to pursue them.

Wont happen, but if DLee is out for an extended period of time, then I'm worried about the power and RBI production. Aramis is the only legit power hitter in the line up. And we all know his leg issues.
