Okay, can someone stomach giving an account of what actually happened?

Furcal bunted, and he trucked over Lee? What did Lee hurt?

Furcal bunted to the pitcher... on the ground... and Eyre dove for it. he then flipped his glove up and somehow Furcal ran into Lee. Injures his wrist (I guess)

What the hell did Hairston do in the spring to deserve this. He went from almost starting at 2B to offical 'used less then Freddie Bynum' status

Man...looking on the replay, Furcal really slammed into Lee. Lee was knocked up off his feet. Quite an accomplishment for a little guy like Furcal.

Ron Santo has officially hit his most unlistenable.

Ron: Oh God, Oh geeze, oh no, oh oh oh.

Thanks for the information. Please go somewhere that isn't the broadcast booth. Thank you for all of your contributions and being a great fan, but you SUCK as a broadcaster.

What's Ron supposed to say in that situation?

Exactly. I would have probably done the same reaction that Ron did.

The least blue could do was call Furcal out for running 2 feet inside the lane

Looked like Lee was hovering over the entire bag to me

I agree. Lee was standing on the bag.

Yeah, I was listening and Ron's worrysome voice was the only thing that really indicated how serious it was.

Actually, Pat was worse. He actually announced that Lee was going to stay in the game. Then of course, right after that, not only does Lee leave the game, but Eyre is hurt as well.

so are we talking extended period of time injury here or just banged up and with the off day should be back for St.Louis? I know there is no way of knowing...but the people who watched it what are your thoughts?

Since he plays for the Cubs, I'm gonna say its an 80-90% chance it's broken. I really have no idea, but it looked really bad.
