I'm just happy this is the last westcoast night game the Cubs have for a little while. I'm sick of sitting around all day waiting for the game to start. Also, go Cubs!

I'm ticked about that because the series is Tuesday through Thursday and I have class late Tuesday and Wednesday and early Thursday so there was no chance I could go to any of the games. Why couldn't they have played on a weekend like last year? BLAST!!

At least I'll get to see the Iowa Cubs in Sacramento at the end of May. 8)

My brother in law in Sacramento has been pestering me to come out for that series. I may just take him up on it. I've never seen [insert latest corporate sponsor name here] Park yet.

I might stop by for that. More likely, I'll go to Fresno since the I-Cubs are playing Fresno during the weekend.

I just refer to it as Raley Field. I don't worry about all of that sponsor crap. It's a really nice field and there really isn't a bad seat in the stadium. If you are going to a night game and don't want to sit on the sun, then sit on the third base side. The first base side is in the sun for a while. I would also recommend the Thursday because it is $1 hot dog night.

Thanx for the tip. If I go, it'll be for all 3 games.

Just one question..... who or what is Raley ?

Oh man, thats a huge bummer. During finals week at night. Although I guess it really doesn't matter when the game's are on, I'm probably gonna stop studying and watch the games.

Actually it's a four game series Monday through Thursday.

The name comes from the family that owns the Raley's Supermarkets chain.

According to my schedule, the game on Monday night is in San Diego.

Have the Raley's interests bought up the naming rights to the park. I thought some successor entity of Pacific Bell still held the rights ?

Sounds like Fred is talking about the big league team and San Francisco and soccer10k is talking about the I-Cubs and Sacramento...

OK... now that makes things a whole lot clearer.

We need a big performance from Marshall to even have a chance against Penny, but John Koronka did it in L.A. last year, so you never know.

Man ive had a rough day. A Cubs win could be a nice pick me up. Yeah yeah, having the Cubs try to fix my blues isnt exactly reliable medication.

I feel your pain too, today...

After a loss I dont feel like doing anything... Including homework. Thank god baseball is in the summer. But after a win, I'm to excited to do anything! It's a lose-lose situation.

Well this is certainly the sort of place that'll help with Marshall limiting his runs allowed.
