Vin Scully called it a "Run and Hit"

 

What the hell is that?

Runner steals, batter can swing at his own volition.

 

Of course it makes absolutely no sense with Ramirez running the bases.

We can't get 200 people to sign up for Premium. Where the hell are we gonna get $500 million ??????

Keep in mind there were 3 balls, Mabry not swinging should mean a ball, but no.

it's like a hit and run, but the runner is just going and the batter doesn't protect.

 

yea but Scully didn't call it a busted hit and run. He's referring to it as a Run and Hit as if that's an actual type of strategy...

I like Mabry but that call makes less sense when you have someone who doesn't make reliable contact with the slowest baserunner with the game on the line.

 

I think Marshall could win 13-14 games next year.

The only Dow Jones update we want from Pat and Ron is that the Tribune is down and Cuban bought the Cubs.

 

Tribune Co was down 0.14 to 27.88.... and the CUBS aren't for sale.

 

If they ever are, NSBB should raise money to buy them :lol:
