I'd really prefer Roy or Carney over Brewer.

Barring a collapse in the final 14 games, neither of those guys are likely to be there when the Bulls are using their second first round pick. Carney strikes me as more of a 3, too -- and I think the Bulls are set at SF.

Don't the Bulls have 2 firsts?

yes, and if the season ended today, the Knicks pick would be no worse than 4th overall (with the 2nd pick at #11).

yeah, but isn't it possible for the Bulls to win one of the top 3 picks in the lottery and still get the #4 from the Knicks? Or for that matter get the top 2.

.8% possible, sure. :D

Slim chance, but yes, it's possible

Well, there you go! No, I actually was thinking the Bulls were doing worse than they are (thinking they had around the 8th pick).

They could really use a continued tailspin. I'm also really high on Joakim Noah of Florida if he could bulk up 30 pounds or so. He's incredibly athletic and long. His athleticism would take a hit if he were to put on some weight, but he could be a real DOMINANT force down low.

He has very high potential...

I don't want athletes with potential. I want ball players with proven skills

How about this? He reminds me a lot of Chris Bosh.

i'm serious though. I don't want 15 Eddie Robinson's on my team. I couldn't care less if they can jump 7 feet in the air or are super fast. I want guys who can hit the 15' jumper and sink their free throws and make the extra pass.

Derwood, who would you like to see the Bulls draft then?

someone big. Aldridge, Davis, that type.

As in Paul Davis? With a lottery pick?

Paul Davis is a late first rounder at best. If the Bulls were to take Davis with a lottery pick, I'd be really wondering what the hell Pax is thinking.

i don't know if carney's movbed up at all, but 2 of morrison, carney, aldridge would be nice. heck, i'd even take redick.

I like Carney, but I think he's redundant with Deng at the three. Morrison would probably force the Bulls' hand to make a deal with one of the other guards. I'm still not opposed to Gordon running the point...

I may be wrong, but I think he meant "Baby Shaq" Glen Davis from LSU. He's slighty more Shaq than Harold Minor was Jordan. He is a lottery pick though.

I vote for Aldridge with the Knicks pick, and if Noah is available when we pick, I would love to have him.

Aldridge is my best bet (which, although Aldridge is good, doesn't speak much to the quality of this draft). And I think Redick makes a better pro than Morrison but I don't think or hope the Bulls draft either of them.

I think the best thing we can do is have Paxson call up Isiah again and make another trade that ensures the Knicks' crappiness again next year so we can take Greg Oden, though.

He needs to lose more weight still. He'd hit a brick wall pretty quickly in the NBA.

no problem. He weighed 350 in high school and is down to 310 as a sophomore. NBA trainers could get him under 300 no problem (unless he has Eddy Curry's work ethic)

btw, ESPN.com doesn't have Davis as a lottery pick. I don't know if that means they don't think he's a superstar, or if it means they doubt he'll go pro this year.

Most likely the former. ESPN has Josh McRoberts ranked, and he's very unlikely to enter the draft this year.
