I have Nutrition class on Mondays from 1:00-3:50 and a Humanities class at the same time on Wednesdays...

 

Needless to say, I won't be spending any time at school this week lol.

 

Opening Day is my annual skip day, it's tradition. Well, actually I think I've never gone to class during a game unless I could tune in to MLB.TV from the class lol, Cubs baseball just makes more sense than going to school.

I never hate school more than on Opening Day. I normally just take a little radio and headphones to class, however, my 6th and 7th hour this year are in a lecture hall, with teachers who actually expect us to pay attention (WTH?) so a mad dash to my car after school sounds like the plan.

 

I had class scheduled during both Games 6 and 7 of the 2003 postseason. I skipped for Game 6 but went to my mandatory lab during Game 7 after Cabrera hit the first inning home run. I think that class during the playoffs is far worse than Opening Day.

I didn't even stay on campus for Game 7, I drove to Wrigleyville to be in the neighborhood for the game.

 

That drive back SUCKED.

Monday, I am OFF, and I am plan to have my book of "Unnecessary Insults" ready for the Cubs games.

I have MLB EI in my office and I'm the boss. I'll have baseball on all day. Luckily the ladies all like baseball or they'd have to find new employment. :hsughwiggle:

the principal knows that I would take a personal day before missing the Cubs game, so he allows me to turn it on in my class.

 

Rational is that openning day is always history and politically Bush will be there.

Ya!!!! just won a bet, another teacher said that G.W. would bounce it in front of the plate. Way to go G.W. first thing I have liked out of you.
