IF all 3 come back this rotation will be deep. Hopefully, in early May.

 

There, I had to fix that for you. I am now resigned to the fact that the cubs will never ever get a healthy season out of wood/prior ever. They are going to continue having strains/surgeries/freak line drives hit off them untill they finally give it up and retire. :cry:

Maybe this is a good thing. Later on the season other pitchers will be all tired while Wood, Prior, and Miller will be in their... better form?

There was also a recent (2003) team that was below .500 at one point as late as July, and still won their division. What team was that? :D

I really don't want to go through another 3 months of "it's still too early to worry about the standings."

If they are pitching in major league baseball games, then they will be in rare form.
