KOMO covers just about all of the Mariners games, including tomorrow's, so it'll be on gameday audio. The only Cubs game they aren't covering is on the 23rd.

Prediction Based on Match-ups: Rusch has allowed 5 RBI and 1 HR in 24 ABs against Mariners... While former Cub Moyer has only allowed 2 RBIs, and no home runs in 65 ABs. Sorry guys, I think its a loss... just based on match-ups though... so dont argue.

PBOM Record: 1 correct prediction, 0 wrong predictions, and 0 draws.

I may be able to chime in now and then, but it gets a little busy during the "real" spring training games.

Funny that the projected opening day #2 hitter hasn't hit there in the 2 games so far. I'm guessing yesterday was because Hairston was in as the DH, and Dusty wanted the speed at the top. I'm guessing today has to do with the LHP on the mound. Still, kinda strange.

Thanks Bruce. can anyone do PBP so Bruce can concentrate on the game?

strange and foreboding. good to see he put Cedeno there instead of furious though.

Whose projection was that though?

Dopirak has an unbelievable opportunity this spring. If he can show something, and learn something, he's got a chance to erase the negative impression from 2005 and re-emerge as a top prospect (and possibly become solid trade bait).

All the publications. You are right, not from Dusty's mouth. I'm happy seeing Jones not there in the first 2 games though. Cedeno would be nice in the 2-hole if he can take some pitches and get on base.

Didn't Dusty say in an interview around the time of the convention that if Walker was still with the team he'd probably be the 2 hitter? Maybe I just dreamt that?

I think I read something like that. Perhaps he was saying that if Walker was on the team Opening Day, he would be the #2 hitter, but he is expecting Walker to be gone, so he's looking to see who else can do the job.

Although, I remember more him saying that Walker would probably start if he was on the team, and not necessarily hit 2nd.
