that's a shocker! Illinois basically has to win on the road because of that loss. If they're good enough, they'll get it done.

Man @tOSU, Mich, and MSU is going to be brutal. I hope we get 1 of those.

yeah I think we can get at least 1, hopefully 2 of those. Izzo said that 5 losses could win the Big 10. If we win just one of those 3 road games and win every other game, that would put us at 5 losses. Even though we lost to PSU, I believe we can beat tOSU on the road as well as Michigan on the road.

Put a #1 by Wisconsin and maybe the Davis and his players will show some freakin effort. No excuse for this bullcrap.

Players continue to regress under Davis. Vaden ought to be a superstar in the Big 10. Ratliff looked better as a snot nosed freshman. Additionally, terrible offense, not only in execution, but in design.

At this rate, Davis had better go deep in the NCAA or win the Big 10 Tourney. What a lousy team.

Davis is done. According to Peegs and some friends sill at IU, the students are planning a "blackout" for Saturday's game vs. Iowa. They will wear Black T-shirts to represent their displeasure with Davis. They will of course, cheer on the Hoosiers. It would be crazy if they could fill the Hall with black shirts.

Has there been a game other than the Illinois game that Killingsworth has played in more than 20 minutes? He seems to get into serious foul trouble against every team except Illinois.

But isn't Michigan State done with all the "tough" road games? I think we'll (Illinois) beat OSU but lose in Ann Arbor and East Lansing. Wait a minute..... if Augustine doesn't have to guard Dials too much, I think we'll win.

Michigan State still has to go to Iowa and Indiana, their schedule is absolutely brutal.

I don't have much faith in IU even in Bloomington, but Iowa may beat them in Iowa City. I still think MSU is the team to beat. I'd much rather have their schedule than what we have. Three of our final four games are road games at Michigan, Minnesota (bad team but always 20+ pts. better at home) at Michigan State with a home game against Iowa somewhere in there. Plus, we're in Columbus on Sunday.

Maybe the remaining schedule, but MSU drew the worst possible schedule this year. They only get Penn State, Minnesota, Purdue, and Northwestern once each, and get the rest of the top 7 twice.

I definitely meant the remaining schedule, which is why I hate that the Big Ten doesn't play at least 18 conference games. I don't know about other teams' schedules but Illinois has had two different times where they have had a week off in the conference schedule.

IU v. Wisconsin tonight. HUGE game for both teams. Both are struggling of late and looking to try to stay in the race. Whoever loses will take a big hit.

Calloway is getting the start tonight for the Hoosiers. That's one thing I find strange (and sometimes frustrating) about Davis. A guy can go from average minutes (10-15) per game, to the dog house (barely sniffing the floor, if getting out there at all), to starting in the span of three or four games. It seems that 20 games into the season, one would have a better understanding of who's going to contribute what, and in what role. Anyway, I hope it works. :fingerscrossed:

All,

There are no more "big" games for the Hoosiers this year. IU scored 22 points in the first half....There is no longer any need to discuss the lack of depth in the paint or being entirely reliant on the three or taking contested shots instead of moving the ba...bah

Good luck to Iowa, UI, Michigan, M. State, Minnesota..etc.

Absolutely freakin' pathetic. I can't wait for the excuses on why they got killed. What a disappointing season. Ugh. How do you not get "up" for the biggest game of the year? I just hope they make a wise choice when Davis is replaced.

The last three games at Northwestern have followed the exact same script. Lead by 6-10 the whole game, then turn the ball over miss free throws and watch Northwestern go off from 3 in the last 5-6 minutes. It seriously is the exact same game every year.

I posted my worries for this game in this thread on Sunday after Illinois lost. I was worried this team would feel the pressure of having the target on their back and feel the pressure of the past losses at NW. I just had the feeling that this team was different than the past ones that have fallen apart at Northwestern.

Well we have an opportunity to make up for it on Saturday. We just lost our wiggle room and almost have to win at Indiana now if we have any dreams of winning the Big Ten.

Shouldn't be a problem.

Iowa wins at Indiana (nobody more surprised than me).

Purdue blowing Michigan out.

What the hell is going on? The Big Ten makes no sense. They should just flip a coin at the start of every game to determine the winner.

There would have to be some crazy happenings over the next few weeks for six losses to win the league. MAYBE five. But four should definitely still get it done if anyone can pull it off.

Five's a definite possibility with all the games people have left with each other. I agree that six is a stretch.

MSU is down 8 approaching the half in Minnesota.

Unbelievable. Purdue blows out Michigan the same day Minnesota takes it to Michigan State. With Northwestern destroying IPFW and Penn State tied up with Wisconsin, Purdue, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Penn State may all win on the same day.

Wisconsin wins by 20 over PSU today. A victory is not a huge surprise against PSU, but 48 second half pts with virtually nothing from Tucker in the game was pretty nice to see. Butch had a great game with 23 and 12. Its nice to see this young Badger team respond to bad play of late with two solid games back to back.
