Assuming we go with Cedeno and Walker in the infield what would your preference be for RF. I also believe that Abreu is not going anywhere so leave him out. I have seen many names mentioned and here are the people whos names we have heard. I am assuming Huff, Bradley, Wilkerson, Floyd, J. Jones, Sanders, Green, Kearns, Mench, Nixon

What of these would you prefer?

List your top five out of these ten

1) Floyd

2) Huff

3) Bradley

4) Green

5) Nixon

Huff

Floyd

Wilkerson

Bradley

I really think Huff would look good batting 5th for the Cubs. I'm concerned about Bradley's health, and I just don't think Wilkerson would be used correctly. I vote for Huff.

Floyd (according to the Mets) is not on the market. And the Cubs can't even sign Burnitz until May so you can take him off the list.

I'd put Floyd on there, but I highly doubt the Mets trade him.

even if Abreu was available, my number one choice is Bradley.

he's the only player that will be available for nothing or for spare parts (besides Sanders, yuck). keep the trading chips and the salary. get Bradley and keep Walker.

Man, I just do not like Bradley at all. Sorry, none of you will ever convince me otherwise so don't even try...

I second that Pedro. I would put Wilkerson at 1 and then down the list. By the way Go Hawks.

I know you have a distaste for him, but look at it this way, if he's injured or a freak show, you still have all the prospects to trade to get one of the other guys. you get any of the others now, and you're stuck with him the rest of the year, sucking or injured, with no prospects left to go get someone else.

My choice would be Manny. I know, not gonna happen, but I'm just soooooooo tired of not winning. I dont care about the contract, I dont care about defensive issues, he can be a HUGE bat in the line-up. Thats just my 2 cents. My DREAM. :D

Since everyone else is cheating now...

Players still alive and active:

1) Vlad, now

2) Sosa, 2001

3) Manny, 1999-2000

4) Griffey, 1993-94

5) Keith Moreland, 1985

Players who are dead:

1) Babe Ruth, 1920 (1.546 OPS!!!)

2) Ted Williams, 1941 (1.458 OPS!!!)

3) Keep adding prospects until you get #1 or #2.
