OK we got our offensive TD, we need the D to step up and great a turnover.

Bulls last night came back from a 14 point 4th quarter defecit, can the Bears come back from an 18 point 4th quarter defecit???

Wow, where was that all year Orton?

it helps when your receivers are making spectacular catches.

The ball had to be there and not 5 feet over their heads to make those catches though....give the guy SOME credit...not a lot....just a smidge...

Unless you're the Colts or Bengals, most of the time you just have to put your recievers in a position to make a play. Orton did that.

I'm surprised nobody here gets it.

The offensive schemes aren't ALLOWING Orton to pass deep. They only run small plays with little risk. Orton does well when he has control of what to run.

Nobody gets it because it's not true.

If the D can force a big play TO, we have a fools hope.

If Gould is missing PATs, he better be making tackles on kickoffs.

Especially when nobody else is going to.

Special teams sure has been terrible today.

Wasn't Purdue's offense more of an open field game? Maybe Orton is just not that type of QB?

Nah, if that were true he wouldnt be terrible on passing plays more then 10 yards all year

I disagree. How often does Turner call a deep post or fly? Or a crossing pattern? Most of the time it's a sideline fade, or a quick slant.

Yeah, b/c no one here has complained about Turner? Actually, many have complained about the conservative nature of this offense.

I think Raisin is saying it's not true, b/c everyone in here knows that Turner has not allowed Orton to throw the ball deep.

Thats exactly what I mean. I fully expected Turner to call a deep pass in the first quarter. Nobody in the league has faced a deep pass from the bears. They don't have to worry about it, so they overload the box.

Screen pass is KILLING us

I can't see the game, overpursuit?

Mostly not. They haven't been able to catch up to it.

how many times has Orton overthrown the ball? that 1st pass to Clark was just a ridiculous catch, which would have been picked otherwise. the throw to Berrian was actually a takeaway by Berrian. that was a pick until the WR stole it. let's not give orton a pass b/c of 2 great plays from his WR.
