If this is true it means Cedeno is definitely on the trading block. I can't see any other way to interpret the pursuit of a right-handed light-hitting veteran SS.

Good point and I hope it isn't true.

Ofman first reported the Pierre story a month ago saying that it would likely include Pinto. So, um, he may know a little something. The anti-Score sentiment here is pathetic.

So that makes him 1 for 100?

I don't live in Chicago or listen to any of the radio stations there, but I think that makes the Score 1 for 400,000 in the rumor dept.

 

I mentioned in the other thread, throw a handful of darts and one is bound to stick in the dartboard.

The SCORE is pathetic.

 

The Score is bad and the biggest problem is everyone on the station, with the exception of Murph, is a Sox fan (and he's as disgruntled as they come). Plus, they spread alot of rumor and untruth as fact.

 

I listen but then again, I'm a bit of a masochist. Actually, I just started to listen again. I couldn't take all the Sox gloatng.

Big time! It's an embarrassment that he's the only Cubs fan on the station.

I like Santo for the same reasons....When the Cubs screw up Ronny is all pissed off...I like that. Is Ronny a conplete idiot, yes...I hate when the Cubs give a late inning homer and our anouncers just keep putting on the Sugar and tipping there hat to every third rate pitcher....

 

just my opinion but the worst announcer has to be Sutcliffe.....I hate him worse than even Joe Moran....Everybody is the best and does eveything well....I can't stand those types of people

Lugo must cost to much so they are in scramble mode to fill shortstop...

 

watch and they will settle with Cedeno and Nefi for ss and 2b

 

WHY are they even considering bringing in Jack Wilson??

 

Now that we have a leadoff man, they need a #9 hitter.

I sincerely don't understand the scramble for a SS. Is there something wrong with starting Cedeno there? If you don't want Walker anymore, fine...why not look for a 2b then? Is it perceived to be easier to get a SS than a 2nd baseman?

This would not be a good move unless the Cubs plan on Flipping Wilson. :D

 

They made Ozzie stop flipping...I'd imagine they'd make Jack quit it too. :P
