Northwestern, please. That would be all kinds of awesome. The only way that would happen (and there is a long list of reasons why it won't) is if he'd come in after next season. Henry Bienen, current president and longtime friend of Carmody, has already said Bill will be back next season. The department can't afford the buyout, anyways. Of course, it will probably take a significant improvement in order for Carmody to get an extension. Bienen will be retiring after the 2008-2009 school year and Phillips is taking over as AD next month, so it will be up to Phillips...and the new President, along with Pat Ryan, as to how much money they're willing to spend. Northwestern is the ultimate ego job, though. There have been some big name coaches throughout the years who have said that they'd love to have a chance to coach at Northwestern and win here. Of course, the guys who have said it, like Jimmy V., have always left the stipulation that they'd need 1 academic exception a year. That won't happen. Of course, Knight wouldn't need it. You guys have a great womans lacrosse team, that should be enough.
