    Cubs don't have enough in their farm system to get this trade done. Face it folks that management has made some bad decisions in deals that they have signed. Nobody is going to be willing to take on Soriano's contract let alone all the stipulations that go with him, ex has to bat leadoff. Now you have Fukudome and its not a good thing when you get in Lou's doghouse but again folks management had to have this guy and now your stuck with him. There are deals that the Cubs could make but it would pretty much over haul their current roster. What a ridiculous thing to say. Yea its becoming quite apparent that Athletics36 holds a grudge against Cubs management for trading away his son. Id love to see his proof of all these "stipulations" regarding Sorianos contract. Im about 99.99 percent positive they are all media fabrications and are nowhere near the truth. As for the Fukudome comment, not only did Cubs management have to have him, but alot of other teams wanted him badly as well. Its not the Cubs management fault that he struggled in the 2nd half.

    The problem with giving the guy a chance to stop dominating before you make that call, is you could be on the hook for a hell of a lot of money for quit a long time.

    When you break off a long TD run on the second play from scrimmage coming up, you will not be worried anymore. Penn States offense is too good. If Michigan loses by less than 17, I'll consider it a victory. michigan's defense really isn't bad though. i don't know how the hell that just happened; michigan's offense sucks. but somehow i knew that they'd play their best game of the year today, they usually do. Illinois offense torched Michigan's D, Penn State should have no problem scoring points.

    Ech. Peavy to the Cardinals makes me nervous. Yea I wouldnt be surprised at all to see him traded to Stl. Rasmus and Anderson, along with a couple others like Reggiemiller rules said would make sense for both teams.
