  1. Bulls are up 25-18 at the end of the 1st quarter against the New Orleans Hornets. Hinrich has 10 1st quarter points. The Hornets folks, are BAD!
  2. Well Bulls lose, terrible 4th quarter.
  3. GO BULLS! Deng, Hinrich, and Gordan all having good games. Hinrich is shooting the ball real well tonight, and Deng's outside shooting has been impressive. See my above post about Gordan, thats how I feel about him right now. Bulls arent turning the ball over tonight, announcers seem to think its because Curry is not in there. I think they have 3 and they are nearing the end of the 3rd quart.
  4. WOW Ben Gordan is a STUD!!!17 points in the 2nd quarter! Bulls up 44-39 at the half....
  5. Bulls up 21-14 at the end of the 1st woo hoo Go Bulls!!
  6. Bulls playing the Pistons tonight at home. Looks like our fellow NSBB'ers wont get to watch Curry play tonight as he has the flu. Bulls have started out on a 8-0 run though.
  7. Well, after 2 disappointing losses after the 5 game win streak, the Bulls came to play vs the Magic. Curry had another good game, so did Gordan, Deng, and Hinrich. The final was 105-90 with Curry getting 22 and 8 boards. Hinrich had 18 w/ 9 assists. Deng had 15 with 7 boards, and Gordan had I believe 16. The Bulls were up 60-37 at the half
  8. Wow just wow. For a young team like this to go on the road to Detroit, and beat the defending Champs, just WOW. I will take a quote from one of my all time favorite movies...."Startin to come together boys, starting to come together"!!
  9. 46-38... Oh ok I just seen it run on the bottom of ESPN 2 and just got a quick glimpse. 38 points in the first half huh? Their D is really starting to be pretty damn good. Is Ben Wallace playing?
  10. Bulls are up 46-38 at the half!! Come on put together another half and we have a 5 game winning streak!!!
  11. There is a quote in one of the papers I read today comparing Zach Randolph and Eddy Curry. Randolph has already been given the contract that Curry wants, and when asked about Randolph, Curry said" I hope to have that one day too. This is where I want to be. We are really starting to believe in ourselves every night. We can play with anybody." That isnt the exact quote but it was something like that. The main thing is, Curry said he wants to be here, which is different from earlier in the season.
  12. 4 in a row, with I believe Detroit coming up on Weds. Antonio Davis playing with a broken jaw, had 12 points and 12 boards tonight. Gordan led in scoring with 23 and Curry had 18. Their defense is climbing up the ranks as one of the better D's in the league. This is at least getting fun to watch and keep an eye on.
  13. Well, I feel obligated to post in here, and not let this thread slip off the front page since the Bulls are now on a 3, yes I said 3 game winning streak. I can't believe that none of the other Bulls fans posted the blow out of INDY last night. I was working, but it looks like Curry had another good game 23 and 13. They held the Pacers to 71 points and Tinsley had almost half the points. Dont look now, but the Bulls are creeping up the ranks in defense. Also, they are out of the basement in their division. Anybody know whos up next? The Bulls will be going for their first 4 game winning streak since 1998!! All us Bulls fans remember that year quite well. Come on Bulls fans keep this thread on the front page, this is the most fun us Bulls fans have had since 1998!
  14. I don't know where they stand in the Bulls' future plans, but I think things have really soured on the Curry front. Rais, if Curry keeps putting up 20 and 6 like he has been for the past few weeks everything will be fine. Also, if the Bulls are winning, you watch how quickly the trade rumors stop. I've had the chance to watch the last 2 games, and I have really liked what I have seen out of Curry. He is still somewhat lazy on the defensive end, and probably should be getting more rebound. On the other hand, the kid is still really young, and I am almost to the point of being scared to trade him. Right now every team is trying to fleece the Bulls, and I dont trade him unless an offer comes for somebody that is a gurantee. Chandler, well the kid has absolutely no offensive game. He makes Rodman look like an offensive genius. However, when he comes in he finds the ball. Either blocking shots, rebounds, or loose ball. If Curry can keep up the offensive production, along with Kirk, and Gordan(who has been on a roll of late) then I can live with Chandler being a defensive stud. I agree that Curry has been impressive. I just don't know if he'll be in the Bulls plans for much longer since he demanded a trade. Isn't he a free agent after this season? I don't think he wants to come back. I have always had a feeling that we'd finally develop Curry (and Chandler) and they'd leave. :( It'd be nice to have Curry back next year and draft a PF (if we don't have to surrender our first round pick to Phoenix) - someone like Chris Taft or Hakim Warrick (if he bulks up a bit). I know what you are saying Rais about Curry demanding a trade and stuff. However I think it all comes down to they are all buying into Scott Skiles finally, and they are seeing results. Curry is a free agent at the end of the year, and supposedly he wants the max contract that a player can get for his first free agency. If Curry continues to play like this all year, I could see Pax offering the contract to Curry. Whether he takes it or not, probable depends on how the team does the rest of the year. Curry has shown glimpses of maturity lately. His screwup in the Dallas game was stupid, but he also the other night was benched in the 4th quarter of a game the Bulls eventually won. In years past Curry would have been pouting and pissed about Skiles benching him, but when asked this time, he responed with" I dont care if Im in the game or not in the 4th, as long as THE TEAM wins the game." That was probably the first time I have heard Curry give up himself for the sake of the team, and its good to hear. I think Eddy will change his mind if he starts producing night in night out(like lately) and the Bulls win(like lately). He is from Chicago and the the fans, media, and front office has been very critical of Curry, but I think if he shows he can play then everybody turns into praising him and he becomes the Chitown basketball idle. So I just hope he continues to improve, because his offensive game is very good. On to another thing, how do all the Bulls fans here(I know there are like 5 of us I think at least lol) think of the job that Skiles has done? Yesterday I was hearing comparisons of him to Jerry Sloan? It seems like the team has started buying into his physical, no nonsense defense and they are playing much better. Just wanted to get everybody elses opinoins on Skiles.

  16. Wow, I'm glad Eddy has his head in the game. Kobe Bryant said on PTI today that he was seriously considering a sign-and-trade with the Bulls this past offseason (if it was viable). Screw Kobe Bryant. I want him nowhere near the city of Chicago, except for when he comes to town to take a beating. By the way Bulls up by 9 with 6 mins left against the Griz. First game I have got to watch all year.(just got direct TV) They dont look too bad.
  17. Well, the Bulls lose a close 1 Monday night against the Mavs. Finley hit a shot with like 3 seconds left in the game for the win. 94-93 was the final. The Bulls are being very competitive of late, and from the sounds of it should have won this game. Very poor officiating, and a STUPID play by good ol Eddy Curry gave this game to the Mavs. Why Pax hasn't got rid of Curry yet I dont know, but this is just more reason this lazy bum should be out of Chicago. So not only is Curry a lazy bum, his head is obviously nowhere near the game. He wants out of Chicago, and most of Chicago wants him out more than Sammy Sosa. Pax please get it done.
  18. And to that, I say goodbye Eddy Curry. You are worthless, and lazy. Good luck getting that Max contract you want because you certainly dont deserve it. Get anybody that fits the style of team they have now ie.....hardworker,physical, and how bout a 7 footer that can actually get 5 boards a game.
  19. Comcast. Arrgh, if mediacom doesnt hurry up and pick up comcast they are seriously goin to force me into directTv or dish. Just dont know if I can get the gf to agree with that with a newborn.
  20. Anybody know if the game tonight is on TV?IF so is it on WGN or Comcast? thnks
