  1. The Bulls have Golden State tonight, and SHOULD win this game pretty easily. Golden State is beat up badly, and just about everybody on the team is complaining about PT. Havent heard yet if AD will be back from his hip pointer, but Harrington stepped in Sat and did a hell of a job. Also here is a really good article on the Bulls schedule in January, and playoff possibilites. http://www.dailysouthtown.com/southtown/columns/arvia/x10-ard1.htm
  2. Yup, the Bulls had one of the toughest schedules to start the season. With that out of the way the entire month of Jan is pretty much at home. The Bulls could very easily get the 7 seed if they continue like this.
  3. Well glad to hear the Bulls won after a long night of dealing with drunken 25-40 yr olds acting like it was their first time ever being drunk. Bartending is really good money, but damn drunk people when Im sober piss me off lol. Made out awesome on tips though so Im done complaining lol. Who do the Bulls have next? I know they have Philly this week, but thats Wednesday I think. So lets make it 4 in a row.....shhhh the Bulls are creeping towards being .500, and off the top of my head if the Bulls make it to .500 Im going to guess its the first time this late in a season they have been at .500 since. well 1998
  4. Deng it! I seen that and was going to go back in and edit it, but I didnt want to go thru the hassle. I know after my shot, that you would take that opening.
  5. I'm thinking of guys like Hamilton, Kobe, Caron Butler, McGrady, Vince Carter - of course a few of these guys are 3's and not 2's. I see a lot of guards going off against the Bulls though (even during the 5-game win streak - guys like Tinsley and Billups scored quite a bit). Good point on the zone D and the wing spans. Ok yea I think with most of the guys you mentioned it would be Deng that is guarding them. I agree it would be nice if we could find a taller gurad to D up however, I think we can allow the guards to try and beat them. If Chandler continues to block shots the way he has been, then they are going to have to settle for the jumper. If the shot falls then ok, but I'll take my chances with the guards trying to beat the Bulls shooting jumpers. I hope Im making sense right now, I feel like Im rambling and I have a terrible headache. So if Im not just tell me to shur up lol. Regarding Tinsley, he was thier only option to score when we played them so he was going to get his points.
  6. Well who are some of the bigger guards in the league that you are thinking of? It seems as if alot of the "star" players of the teams we have been playing lately have struggled against the Bulls. The Bulls have been playing a zone alot lately, which can make up for their lack of size at that position. When the Bulls switched to the zone tonight is when they went on their 15-1 run. When you have Deng, Chandler, and Curry on the floor in the zone, their wingspans wreak havoc.
  7. Does Duhon play consistent D? Well I dont know if its consistent, but its better than Gordans as of right now I believe.
  8. Nocioni is a hard nosed son of a gun. I really like his defensive game, and ability to step in and take a charge. Hes the type of player that will just piss the other team off, hes annoying lol. His shot has been off lately, and he hasnt been hitting the 3 at all. He has said he is a much better shooter than what hes showns so far so I hope thats true. I think he will be a very good signing in Pax's resume. The Bulls have Philly this week also so hopefully they come to play. I agree Raw, NJ should get better, especially with Vince coming to play everynight for the Nets, instead of half the time like he did the the Raptors. I lost alot of respect for Vince after seeing his interview with John Thompson on ESPN. Yeah, the couple games I have seen Nocioni hasn't hit anything from outside. Hasn't really done much of anything when I've seen him. I think he's hitting like 17% from 3 this season. I like this Bulls teams, but I hate the old guys. I can't stand AD, Griffin, or Piatkowski. Othella's ok. I like this team also. As far as the old guys go, AD is the only one who gets considerable PT. Like I mentioned earlier I think AD would be perfect coming off the bench, but SKiles wont mess with the starting lineup right now which is understandable. I actually like Davis in to start with Tyson bringing the energy off the bench. I would definitely start Gordon over Duhon though. Gordon has surprised me this year, but it would be nice if the Bulls got more size/defense at the 2G spot and came off the bench with Gordon at either G spot. Duhon's nothing special to me. wasn't duhon regarded as a shooter during his first 2 years at duke? Duhon came out of high school being a very good offensive player. He said though that when he got to Duke they never needed him to score so he always tried doing everything else. I think he can hit the open 3, but he cant take anybody off the dribble. The only reason he is starting right now is because Gordan turns the ball over too much, and doesnt play consistant D.
  9. The reason why I would like Tyson starting is to get his energy from the start and try jumping on people. If Tyson or Curry get in foul trouble then bring in AD, but its working right now so what the hell lol. The only reason I can think of for Gordan starting over Duhon right now is Gordan turning the ball over so much. Duhon does a pretty good protecting the ball, while Ben's TO"s add up sometimes. TO's are the one thing that the Bulls are having trouble in right now, and Skiles has been pretty upset about them. I think by the end of the year however that Gordan will be starting.

  11. Edit: my 8000th post! Dang! Its DENG, get it right Raw :D

  13. I agree UM that everybody has taken to their roles quite well. Chandler honestly could become the next Dennis Rodman without the freak show behind it, and the ability to block shots. The guy just finds the ball off of missed shots, and teams are going to quit coming in the paint pretty soon if he keeps blocking shots the way he does. I wish he had some kind of offensive game, but like you said with the other potential scoring threats on this team they can get by without him having one. He has earned a starting spot, but I think with the way things are going right now,Skiles is scared to mess with the rotation which is understandable. If they would start Tyson they could bring Antonio Davis off the bench which I believe would be better for him and the team. I like AD, but I believe he would be more valuable off the bench. I also hope to see before the season is over, Gordan moved into the starting lineup in place of Duhon. I think Duhon is perfect to come off the bench and give Kirk and Ben breathers, and it would give Gordan a chance to find his rhythm from the beginning of the game. Wow, the ESPN guys at the half of the Lakers Rockets game, just mentioned the Bulls and gave them some compliments. They were even congratulating Pax on the way he put this team together  Lastly, Skiles is starting to really win me over in the the coaching department. The guy knows X's and O's very well, and seems to be finally getting thru to Curry and Chandler.
  14. Yea Raisin it was a really good comeback from the first quarter. Man was that horrible bball. Gordan had an offnight shooting but Deng was hitting everything. I think Deng could become something special by the end of the year. He is starting to hit his shots, and is a lot more athletic than I ever though he would be. No problem on the commentary, Im just glad somebody was reading them, because when I had like 6 straight posts, I was starting to think I was talking to myself  Bulls have the Celtics tomorro night on WGN, both of them will be coming off playing tonight, but the Bulls at least get to sleep at home. Skiles wasnt happy with this game at all in his post game interview. He said it was the first time in a long time that he felt like the team didnt come to play in the first quarter. He went deep into the bench early trying to shake things up, and then brought back the starters for the 2nd. Seems to have worked. Listen to this stat...since the Bulls started 0-9 and were allowing 102 points a game....they are now allowing 89 points a game since that time. For a young team like this to be playing that kind of defense says alot.
  15. Bulls win 84-78!!!! Deng had an AWESOME game. 22points 7boards 4assists 2blocks 2 steals! Curry had I believe 21 and 5. Hinrich had a lot of assists tonight, and Chandler is a block machine.
  16. Bulls are up 82-78 with 17.2 sec left and Utah has the ball. Curry's fouled out.
  17. Bulls used a 15-1 run in the 3rd to take the lead. Deng is having a dang(pun intended) good quarter. Deng has 18 thru 3 quarters. Bulls up 68-58 at the end of 3.
  18. Bulls are down 40-39 at the half.Much better 2nd quarter
  19. These officials suck also. Curry gets a T for staring at the ref. He made a layup and knocked the ball out of bounds which should have been a delay of game. The ref instead calls a T. I look for Skiles to get 1 in this game to.
  20. In one of the worst quarters of bball I have ever seen in my life, the Bulls are down 22-12! The Bulls shot 3-18 in the first quarter.
  21. Bulls play the Jazz tonight at 7 30 at the UC. Bulls have a pretty good schedule coming up with a lot of winnable games. Lets hope they can put a string of wins together.
  22. Bulls win #11!! 95-89. Not a pretty game, but apparently they got in real late last night as the announcers kept mentioning something of the sort. Good win, beating the worse team in the NBA. It sure is nice being able to say that and not mean the Bulls. 2-1 in 2005! They have the Jazz on Friday.
  23. What the heck? LOL, yea Raisin it was quite comical. All the players were on the court ready to go when the ref asks the other ref for the ball, he says he doesnt have it, so they ask the other ref, he says he doesnt have it. They look all around and cant find it. They finally go in back and grab another bball. Pretty good stuff.... Bulls up 85-82 with 2 45 left in the 4th
  24. LMAO the start of the 2nd half was delayed.....they lost the basketball and couldnt find it. LOL
  25. Bulls up 53-48 at the half. They had a 10-12 point lead with about 2 mins to go in the 2nd quart but let the Hornets back in it.
