    Damnit just got in again was going to buy 2 cheap tickets to cubs cards july 10th, and it keeps telling me they cant process my order due to high activity!

    Damn man thats crazy, I only had 20 tabs open. This will be my first time ever sitting in the bleachers, Im pumped. Also secondary market for tickets right now is ridiculous. I'm not mad for you...I get to go to plenty of Cubs games, and I'm sure I'll go to my share this year too. It just sucks because I look forward to opening day all year, take off work, meet up early to celebrate and then goto the game. Now I might not be able to do that. The secondary market is ridiculous but it will go way down once initial enthusiasm goes down....happens for every sporting event I've tracked. Yea you luckey ass wrigleyville people :D Id love to go to opening day but living in Galesburg makes it a pain to go to a weekday game. Im pumped though first time in bleachers for Woody and Deros homecoming, and Im going to Busch for the 1st time ever in April. Guess Im losing my virginity this year :D

Hope you plan on getting really drunk in the bleachers. Otherwise, it's going to be extremely annoying for you. I can't stand sitting in the bleachers anymore. It's just one big frat party with people who know nothing about the Cubs or baseball in general. Yea Ill probably be pretty drunk, but I just couldnt pass up 50 bucks for a bleacher ticket since most weekend bleachers are around 90-100 on the secondary market. Should be fun out there

    I think it's a huge reach. The guy is 27, he's been horrible in limited major league innings and his health means there's no way you can count on him for more than 50 innings. Hes been horrible while being used out of the bullpen. Hes never been in a 5 man rotation at the ML level that I can think of. Also like I said durability is his biggest issue, but if healthy Guzman has good stuff. But that's a huge reach. I see your point. However he will be another year removed from TJ surgery so if there is going to be a breakout year for him, I would think this is the year.

    Illinois at Minnesota tonight. Big game for the Illini on the road in a pretty tough place to play, against a pretty decent team. Lets go Illini! Continue the march towards the Big Ten Title.

    Problem is, only one of those final six guys you listed has a good chance to even be decent as a major league starter this year. If Hill could find his control he could be #2, but I'm not betting on it. And then we have a pretty major injury risk in Harden to worry about as well. I don't like Looper much at all, but I wouldn't be opposed to some more 5th spot insurance. I dont think its too far of a reach to think Guz could be a decent starter this year. The guy has they stuff, but as always durability is a major factor.

    if salary doesnt matter in this discussion, then neither does durability. Thats ridiculous. Durability has to matter in all discussions regarding a pitcher. Wolf taxes bullpens while not being that good, at least Marquis has a history of eating innings and saving a teams bullpen a little bit.

    The way the bench stands with the addition of Paul Freaking Bako, it may have the least amount of power of any bench in the history of baseball.

    Heh at this point I expect Hendry to sing Looper to a Marquis like deal.

    Woahhh wait a minute...Hendry is going to sing Bako to a 750k contract, correct me if Im wrong but isnt that what Blanco signed for? Blanco is a hell of a lot better than Paul freaking Bako.Gahhhhhh this offseason needs to end

    Damn its hard rooting for Ohio State, but it sure would be nice to see them upset Mich State today.

    The guy deserves to be either kicked off the team, or suspended for the rest of the year plain and simple. What he did was completely ridiculous, and I seriously hope either he gets his ass kicked soon, or blows out a knee.
