That's entirely possible, and Kolb is the popular name for the Titans to pursue if Fisher/Reinfeldt don't draft a QB. I don't know that the Eagles trade Kolb for a backup QB, though, especially if being a backup would make Vince mad. If the pick is high enough, however, they may consider it. Personally, I'm torn on the idea. On one hand, Kolb is a bit more of a proven commodity than a draftee, but he's already spent a few years in a west coast offense and would have to adjust to the Dinger system in Nashville. I don't know the contract details for him, but I'd bet his rookie contract is just about up too. Kolb has one more year on the deal he signed before this season. Here are the details. Looks like if the Eagles trade him, there's going to be a 5+ million cap hit if the old rules apply in the CBA. That's going to make them think twice about trading him. The Eagles were looking for a second rounder for him last offseason, but I'd think a third and a fifth is about what they could get this year. A third plus Young may get it done, but I don't know. Whoever trades for him will have him cheap for one year at 1.392 million, but then they would have to extend him or lose him to FA.
