    The Rangers continue to make good moves. The new ownership seems to know what they are doing.

    And almsot as soon as that deal was signed, the owners were complaining about it. I'm not sure it's going to be so easy this time. I think what's happening is that there is some real dispute between the owners. While a lot of revenue is shared, some owners have greater expenses than others. Others do a better job generating revenue than others, while some owners are content to let things be. I think there are some owners who will refuse to go back to anything that resembles the terms of the old CBA and that's going to be an issue.

    I didn't buy them. I didn't want to end up taking a bath on them, so I just let the opportunity pass. If the Cowboys were going to be there, I probably would have gotten them because I would have enjoyed being there with the whole atmosphere and whatever. But, I just didn't want to take the risk that there would be too many of these on the market and end up losing money on the whole thing.

    I really don't want the Steelers to win. I know too many young women in the DFW area to want Big Ben to have a whole week there to try to rape them.

    Ok, because I'm a season ticket holder, I got this email today from the Cowboys...[attachment=0]SB-Plaza-party-email--res4.jpg[/attachment] So, you have to buy four passes and the parking or nothing. It's a total of $875. You only get into the endzone plazas with no actual view of the field, but you are there. Do you think these would sell on the secondary market? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to buy and then sell.

    Steve Kragthorpe, former HC at Louisville and Tulsa, is going to interview for the LSU OC job.

    I like Burgess a lot. If we were going to trade Gorzelanny, which was a given, getting Burgess is a good player to get back.

    Hopefully that's right. Chaney's not a "Power-I" 3 yards and a cloud of dust coordinator, so he won't fit if Miles is looking for that. I don't think Miles is looking to run a 3-yd and cloud of dust coordinator. He does want to reign things in from all the multiple sets that Crowton ran. He's still looking to run a pro-style offense at LSU by all indications. Since those first names leaked out, it's been pretty quiet on who LSU might consider.

    I'm rooting for the Jets. The only reason I don't really want them to win is because it will perpetuate the myth that Sanchez is actually good.

    Would the college replay rule work better in the pros. Challenges come from a replay official in the booth.

    Looks like Ryan to the Cowboys as DC is imminent. Reportedly they are currently working out a contract.

    That's great news, imo. Though it's probably a way to try to leverage the players. Yeah, I'm for anything that reduces the amount of pre-season tickets I have to buy. I'd prefer an 18-game season, but if it's 16 and 2, I'd be happy as well.

    The Browns are said to be targeting Eagles' defensive backs coach Dick Jauron as DC. Mike McCoy is expected to remain in Denver as Fox's OC, so that bodes well for Tebow's chances with the team.

    That's pretty funny. I find it to be an old parody. Not funny anymore. Maybe in 1992 it still was. You have to admit putting Rex Ryan's foot-fetishing wife in the pic in the Leia belly dancing outfit is a nice twist.

    Cowboys have an interview set up with Rob Ryan to replace Paul P. as DC. They supposedly have had interest in Nolan, but he may not be available since Miami retained Sporano. Another candidate that has been mentioned is Steelers coach Ray Horton, but they cannot interview him until Pittsburgh is eliminated from the playoffs.
