  1. Lock-out back on. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6451701
  2. I would have gone a different direction, but I can live with Carter.
  3. I think his lack of mobility is also affecting him too.
  4. Bowers knee must really be fucked up.
  5. Reports are Dallas could have taken the same offer Jacksonville gave Washington, but instead decided to stand pat and take Smith. They wanted Smith and didn't want to risk him not being there later. I think I would have taken the trade down, but I'm ok with the pick.
  6. Will this affect other teams being willing to do draft day deals with the Bears in the future?
  7. That's probably what is going to happen. Bush wants to be the featured running back there. Even with Thomas and Ivory in the fold, Bush still was the star. Before the Ingram pick, Bush was willing to re-structure. My guess is now, he is less willing to do so and there's no way the Saints pay Bush 11.5 million for next season. He's going to be cut. I wonder what team might overpay to sign him?
  8. Reports are Ravens are asking the NFL to give them the Bears' fourth rounder due to the botched trade.
  9. New Orleans trades next year's first to take Ingram.
  10. Rick Gosselin's final mock. (His mocks are usually among the most reliable.) Lots of surprises here. #1 - Panthers - Newton - QB #2 - Broncos - Miller - LB #3 - Bills - Dareus - DE #4 - Bengals - Green - WR #5 - Cardinals - Peterson - CB #6 - Browns - Jones - WR #7 - 49ers - Gabbert - QB #8 - Titans - Locker - QB #9 - Cowboys - Tyron Smith - OT #10 - Redskins - Ponder - QB #11 - Texans - Aldon Smith - OLB #12 - Vikings - Dalton - QB #13 - Lions - Fairley - DT #14 - Rams - Ingram - RB #15 - Dolphins - Pouncey - OG/C #16 - Jags - Kerrigan - DE #17 - Pats - Jordan - DE #18 - Chargers - Liuget - DT #19 - Giants - Solder - OT #20 - Bucs - Quinn - OLB/DE #21 - Chiefs - Carimi - OT #22 - Colts - Castonzo - OT #23 - Eagles - J. Smith - CB #24 - Saints - Clayborn - DE #25 - Seahawks - Amukamara - CB #26 - Ravens - Watt - DE #27 - Falcons - Taylor - NT #28 - Patriots - Watkins - G #29 - Bears - Austin - DT #30 - Jets - Sherrod - OT #31 - Steelers - Heyward - DE #32 - Packers - Williams - CB
  11. I think you're knocking his talent a bit; Jenkins could have snuck into the first round in the real draft if there were no concerns about his character. I agree with you on his talent. I figured character would have pushed him to the top of the second. If he's eligible for the supplemental draft, I wonder how high he will go. My guess is someone will be willing to risk a second rounder on him, especially a team who misses out on one of the CB's in this year's draft.
  12. Jenkins could end up being a coveted player in the supplemental draft if he declares. Had he declared for the draft, he might have been the fourth CB taken and maybe a second round pick. Even with his concerns, he could be a second-third round type player in the supplemental draft.
  13. Lockout lifted http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81f77c4f/article/judge-rules-for-players-lockout-to-be-lifted-nfl-set-to-appeal?module=breaking_news
  14. Nothing fancy here.... Garza (0-2, 4.74 ERA) vs Rogers (2-1, 6.75 ERA) Time to get back to .500. Go Cubs!
  15. Cowboys continue to remake the o-line and take Stefen Wisniewski OL.
  16. Safety is going to be a position that falls. The first safety off the board will be Rahim Moore (depending on if you think Aaron Williams is still a CB or not). And he probably won't go until the 50s at best. Deunta Williams is probably outside of the next group of safeties (Sash- Iowa, McDaniel- Clemson, Carter- Okla, Conte- Cal). I don't think he'll make it into the 3rd under almost any circumstance. He may even fall to the 5th, as he's been able to do nothing since breaking his leg a few months ago. If he's there in the fifth, I'd hope the Cowboys grab him. I'd probably even spend a 4th on him.
  17. Just a question here, but how far does everyone think Duenta Williams falls due to his leg injury? He's a player that I really liked at safety...and saw him as a possible high second rounder before the broken leg. Is he third rounder...fourth rounder? I'm just curious.
  18. In about a week, I'm going to see Mississippi play Montgomery. Any good prospects on either of those teams?
  19. Well, I just bought tickets for Memorial Day (5/30) and got 3 seats in section 4, row 7. I don't think I've pulled up seats that good when I've bought in February. I got seats for Saturday (5/28) and got three seats in 409 row 2. Those are pretty good seats for waiting this long.
  20. Well, I'm about to finally buy some tickets for games May 28-May 31. If anyone has some they want to unload, hit me up.
  21. I was all set to solve Dallas OL problems by adding Watkins to first round pick Tyron Smith. Now, Dallas will look to add some beef to the D-line by adding Stephen Paea, DT Oregon State.
  22. I bet Glendon Rusch is calling Hendry right now.
  23. Board policies won't allow me to post a pic representing that one.
  24. Right arm amputation. http://www.moviemobsters.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Black-Knight-monty-python-380119_800_441.jpg
