    For real, I'm really tired of this getting attention. I know I don't care in the slightest. You say that, but I think you might care if somehow Lee, Aram, Z, or Woody showed up on the list.

    At the moment I'd say no. He has too many accuracy issues. He's turning into a heck of a spread college QB though. There's nothing wrong with that. he may e a very effective college QB, but that wasn't what was being debated I agree Derwood. He's going to have to improve his passing ten-fold if he plans on doing anything in the NFL.

    I can't wait to hear all the "I was recovering from an injury and had no idea that the supplement I was taking was steriods" excuses to follow. I just hope there aren't any prominent Cubs on the list. Oh, and I'm hoping Pujols is definitely on the list.

    Doesn't sound like negotiations are going very well. I'm guessing he's traded. ESPN

    One team has backed out of the Fukudome sweepstakes: http://www.japanball.com/news.phtml?id=11228 So unless he signs with the Ymiuri Giants, he's definitely on his way to the States. I'm guessing if he does come that Hendry will outbid every other team interested.

    And that would be pretty bogus. Explain to me why Illinois deserves a BCS spot over Missouri. I'm all ears. don't you remember? illinois almost beat missouri. i don't think anyone is saying illinois deserves a bcs spot over missouri....it's just that if osu makes the nc, the rose bowl is going to select illinois as their replacement. i know. i'm just going to be unbelievably bitter if we lose to OU and end up in the JoeSchmoe.org Bowl while three-loss teams are ending up in BCS games. Grow your fan base. It's all about money.

    I don't know if it's true. I saw the prosportsdaily thread and am listening in to ESPN radio in Denver. They didn't mention anything about the signing in the latest Sportscenter Update. I'm guessing it's not true.

    There was a bunch of rumors going around lately that Michigan was after Kirk Ferentz, but TheWolverine.com is reporting Ferentz is not an option anymore. I'm still hoping Michigan hires someone like Brian Kelly, Rich Rodriguez, or even Gary Pinkel. Someone who will change the program and bring it up to speed with college football. It's about time to go away from the run left, zone blocking scheme that hasn't been working for years.

    Awesome news. It's about time we got some good news. The man-love for Kerry continues to grow. Very cool that he's coming back despite having 2-year offers on the table.

    Why would Kelley take a step down and coach Michigan or Notre Dame? How has that Syracuse football team been lately Cuse? By the way, I'd be furious if Michigan hired Ferentz, but it really wouldn't surprise me one bit.

    Pretty sure Musberger is high on mushrooms during every game at this point in his career. At one point tonight he called the Big 12 the Big 10. If he can't root for Michigan or Ohio State, there's no point in him calling a game.

    WHAT? The Reds bullpen WAS awful last season. What are you talking about?? Sorry. I wasn't very clear. I didn't mean the Reds don't need bullpen help. I just think it's a terrible contract when the Reds could have added someone for the middle innings and just stayed with Weathers. I just think the Reds have a bunch of problems and throwing a bunch of money at a closer isn't an answer.

    I'm not going to completely defend the contract but their bullpen does need an ace. It's not like players are beating down the Red's door to be in Cin. On msg boards I've noticed about 90% of the major signing are met with complete disdain. This is the MLB reality, folks. There's some truth to that, but we're talking about CoCo Cordero here. They could very very very very very easily get his production without needing to spend any real money at all, that's the nature of relief pitching. Exactly. They might need some relief pitching, but overpaying for CoCo Cordero when they have limited funds is not the answer. It's not like Cordero is head and shoulders above Stormy Weathers.

    Once again, I seriously think that baseball is run by a bunch of idiots. This makes absolutely no sense for the Reds. The last thing the Reds need is another reliever.

    and the Pac-10 still has no idea how to play defense. What was the score of that Oregon/Michigan game again? I think talent and speed may have a role in this too. The Big East is fake.
