While this is certainly a terrible deal for the Cubs, I can't help but wonder whether or not Jacque quietly demanded a trade out of town. He's never seemed happy here, and may have pushed the issue behind closed doors. Of course, this probably means that Pie and Murton will start next year in CF and RF (unless God forbid that Rotoworld prediction of Luis Gonzalez comes to fruition.) You can rest assured that Hendry will dig up some past his prime veteran to take time away from those guys. Don't worry, Luis Gonzalez is on his way.

I'd be one peeved Colts fan after watching this game. They make a miraculous comeback and then miss a chipshot FG to lose the game. Manning's 6th interception of the night.

That was a pathetic attempt by Cleveland's offense. Have to hope the defense holds the Steelers to 3 and out.

Not so fast. The Browns return the kickoff 100 yards to take the lead right back. What a game! Who would have thought the Browns would put up this much of a fight? Absolutely a great game. The Steelers came right back and scored another TD to take the lead again. 3 minutes left and the Browns are down by 3.

No fair, you stole my comparison before I had a chance to use it. Infante could be a worthwhile gamble, but does anyone else think his value isn't quite at what Jones' is? Please explain to me how Infante is anything like Barrett? Barrett's bat wouldn't play at a corner infield postion and he was athletic enough to move to catcher. Infante's bat isn't even that good for a middle infielder and he's played some in CF. I don't see the comparison. Wrong thread? Seems like the right thread to me.

They're playing without their 4-year starting QB and their heisman-candidate RB. They also are playing with a rookie QB who doesn't have a clue. Not many teams would be very good under these circumstances. Ugh-injuries are part of the game! Badgers are playing through even more injuries. The Wolverines D is the problem, not their offense. I'm not saying injuries aren't part of the game, but take away 2 of the top 3 offensive players for any team and they're not going to be nearly as good as they should be. Game over.
