    I've been to a zillion games at Wrigley and watched a zillion more on TV, and I don't think I've ever noticed that there is more foul territory on the first base side than on the third base side. So weird that I've never noticed that before.

    It's hilarious watching you guys fight every weekend about who's the better (or worse?) conference. Who gives a crap? They don't play each other enough so it's impossible to know.

    Great tackling Michigan. It's the Michigan/OSU game and Michigan is playing like they all got wasted last night and have hangovers from hell.

    I love how Ohio State makes adjustments after the 1st quarter, but Michigan just keeps running the same plays over and over again, and then are dumfounded by the fact that they can't move the ball now. The predictability of Michigan is astounding. Everyone in the stadium knows exactly what play is going to be called.

    We'll just have to hope he has problems with his back like he's had in the past. His career high for numbers of games played in a season is 114. That being said, he'll probably be the only guy on the team who is healthy all season.

    I was listening when Kaplan said it. It's true.

    I don't really expect Matsui to be a regular starter. He doesn't have a place to play. If it's true that he's getting a 3-year deal, he's going to be starting somewhere. Bench players don't usually get 3-year deals.

    So this is what Hendry is copying from the Red Sox, huh? They sign one Japanese guy to help out the bigger name, and they won the World Series. Must copy them.

    Ready for some bad news? Kaplan was on WGN radio just a little while ago and said that the Cubs were "approaching a deal" with Matsui. No word on the length or money of the contract.
