  1. They're playing without their 4-year starting QB and their heisman-candidate RB. They also are playing with a rookie QB who doesn't have a clue. Not many teams would be very good under these circumstances.
  2. Question: Why do you guys watch Michigan or Ohio State every weekend if all you're going to do is complain about the reffing week in and week out? Seems like a big waste of time.
  3. Wow. Great decision by Mallett there.
  4. Nice pass idiot. Great decision.
  5. Mallett is supposed to be the future, but he's completely over his head right now. His last 6 or 7 passes haven't been anywhere near the mark. He's just firing it at hard as he can and praying it comes close to a WR. That and this offense is even more vanilla with him in there if you can imagine that. he had arrington wide open for a bomb and overthrew him by 10 yards. Mike Hart needs a Tim Biakabutka performance next week if Mallett is in there. What, you don't like those 5-yard outs or runs to the left every play? Michigan has a bunch of weapons on offense, but call plays like they're Navy or something.
  6. Geez. About time something good happens for Michigan.

  8. Michigan hasn't done anything today. They didn't even show up. So infuriating. Hopefully after they get killed next weekend by OSU Carr will finally be out of a job.
  9. Michigan can't stop him and they can't stop Wisconsin on 3rd down.
  10. It just seems like Hendry once again is focusing on something asinine like getting a bunch of fast guys on the team instead of getting hitters who can actually get on base. It's either getting a lead-off hitter, or getting guys who can play multiple positions, or getting guys who can steal bases, or getting guys with "5-tools". It's never about getting guys who can actually hit and get on base. The key number is 400. That was Jacque's slugging percentage last year. Below average even for a CF. Who are you expecting us to be able to get for him? I don't expect to get anything good for him. That's why I'd rather just keep him as a backup plan if Pie falls flat on his face.

  12. Pretty tough to play well when you're missing your starting QB and your heisman-candidate running back. The defense needs to show up though. They are playing like crap.
  13. no comment Dude, I'm not a Wisconsin fan, despite living in Madison. Defender clearly caught that and the receiver reached in afterwards. Truffle is agreeing with you, but is not commenting because people tell him he complains too much about Michigan.
  14. 17-0 Wisconsin now. Michigan's defense is making Donovan look like Tom Brady right now.
  15. Wisconsin is absolutely thrashing Michigan. Michigan can't do anything on offense and Wisconsin is doing whatever it wants on offense right now. They're gaining 20 yards on every 1st down. Guess Michigan was looking ahead to next week.
  16. Michigan is down 7-0 after committing 2 personal fouls on one drive. Henne and Hart are both out of the game with injuries. Not good news for Michigan. ](*,)
  17. Michigan's Morgan Trent has to be one of the worst cornerbacks in the nation. He can't cover anyone.
  18. Bruce Levine reported on ESPN 1000 that the Cubs and Tigers were discussing a Jones for Omar Infante deal at the meetings and the two teams plan to stay in contact about a deal. I'd probably rather just keep Jones that bring in another crappy middle-infielder.
  19. Of course Hendry has interest in Randy Winn. Can we get a new GM already? Ours is absolutely horrible who doesn't have a clue how to put a good team together.
  20. MLB should move both the Rays and the Marlins out of Florida. Neither one is going to succeed financially in Florida since people in Florida don't seem to care much for baseball. Move one of the teams to North Carolina and one of them to Las Vegas or something.
  21. I just don't understand Hendry's logic on this. Where is Matsui going to play? Is he going to split time with Theriot at SS? Matsui has shown he's not capable of being a good shortstop in his time with the Mets. That's why he was moved to 2b. So does that mean Matsui is going to take over 2b? That seems like the most likely option, but why do you replace DeRosa with an inferior player? Just because he has some speed? Does this mean DeRosa is on the trading block, or is DeRosa just going to be some super utility player? I just don't understand. The only thing I do understand is that this sale of the Cubs needs to move faster because Hendry and Co. need to be replaced already. They have no idea what they're doing.
  22. No way. Tigers would have to add Verlander to the deal or it's not worth it for us.
  23. Rotoworld: Could be just GM talk, but it really doesn't make much sense for the Twins anyway unless the the Cardinals are picking up a hefty portion over the next 3 years.
