    how long is bradley out though? does he miss any time in 2008? From Rotoworld a while back: I would definitely take him on a one-year deal to see if he's going to be healthy.

    I think it's staged. I can definitely see someone punching when they're scared, but they would flinch first. That guy doesn't flinch at all. He just goes right for the guy in the trashcan. There would be some momentary pause where he's trying to figure out what's going on.

    It'll be interesting to see what they do this offseason. They've got some aging vets on that team that are making a lot of money and a lot of holes. The offense is basically Pujols and some crap. When will Carpenter be ready, and will he return to form? What does their rotation look like next season? Lots of question marks.

    Rosenthal reported that the Cubs were likely to pick up Trachsel's option. Obviously, a few days later that turned out not to be true when the Cubs declined it, but there was a lot of hand wringing here during that time. :D Ah. I missed the sarcasm. Could have sworn I remember Tracshel getting his walking papers. same here, I almost crapped myself And that's different from normal how? Do you ever sleep? It's 7 am, got to go in for work! It's awake time even on the Left Coast. NSBB before work? That's impressive. I usually spend the first 30 minutes of work looking at NSBB and perusing the cub-related articles for the day.

    I guess Scott Rolen is no longer in their plans. That's a lot of money they're wasting.

    Kaplan was on WGN radio a little while ago and said the talks are on-going. Rays have interest in Epatt, Cedeno, a minor-league outfielder, and Hill.

    How bad are the Rangers laughing right now. Arod gets richer and stays on the Yankees, but the Rangers are off the hook for the money they owed. Sure looks like it works out well for them.

    If true, I'm guessing the Tejada and Cabrera talks heat up. I'm guessing the Angels end up with one of the two.

    we'll make a friendly interweb wager on that. I would probably agree with you abuck. There has been talk in Baltimore that there's going to be a complete overhaul. It sounds like Tejada is gone for sure, and depending on if they can't sign Bedard to a long-term contract, he's probably gone too.

    We haven't heard anything about Murton this offseason from either Hendry or Lou, which makes me think he's on his way out as part of a package for someone. I just don't think he's in the Cubs' plans at all. Maybe to the Orioles as part of a package for Tejada or Bedard.

    This is more of a non-move than anything. Monroe wasn't in the plans anyway, and we're not going to get anything of value back.

    I can't think of a better place for Izturis to end up. Hopefully the Cardinals give him a 3 or 4-year contract.

    They just had an update on the Tampa radio station and had no mention of anything about Rays baseball. Only pro and college football updates.
