    That's the question though. Can we afford to sign him to an extension? We've got quite a few big-money contracts now. I don't know if we'd be able to afford him.

    Heyman lists us as one of the chief pursuers, but I just don't see it happening.

    No way Minnesota would give up Garza for Rolen. Rolen's shoulder is shot at this point, and his numbers have been in decline for the past couple of years. He's not the same player he was a few years ago.

    Rotoworld: Looking more and more like we'll have Matsui in a Cubs uniform. I wonder if Hendry plans on replacing DeRosa or Theriot with Matsui. Either way, I don't like this idea.

    Ugh. I'm going to be extremely upset if Dempster is in our starting rotation next year, and even more upset if Hendry replaces him by signing another reliever to a big contract. These clowns running the Cubs can't leave soon enough. Oh, and I love the fact that Hendry spewed off that garbage about Dempster being an all-star 7 years ago. Idiot.

    I find it interesting that people actually think we have a chance at getting Arod even though our ownership is up in the air. I just don't see it as a possibility at all. That's way to much money to hand out with so many things up in the air.

    Stupid. Yea Jim would rather invest in crap like Jason Marquis, Neifi Perez, Steve freaking Trachsel, etc etc etc.. then a guy with talent. The sooner Hendrys ass leaves Chicago the better. Anyone else completely baffled as to how Hendry still has a job? He's obviously completely overmatched as GM.

    Wow. The Yankees are having issues. Who would have thought a player would walk away from $16 million from the Yankees? :shock: It will be interesting to see what Posada and Rivera do, but it's already been a bad offseason for the Yanks.

    Soriano should probably be moved to RF anyway. It seems to be much easier finding a power-hitting LF than it is to find a power-hitting RF. Soriano definitely has the arm and could handle RF.

    Tim just got the regular board switched over. He still needs to set up the Premium Board. Might be a couple days of looking at google ads.

    Holy Hell, monolith is awful. Actually, Monolith isnt that bad, that BF Visa is absolutely mind boggling-ly bad, though. What don't you like about BF Vista? I looked at it and don't think it's that bad. Going to check out monolith now. ETA: Yeah, don't like Monolith AT all. Back to BF Vista for now. The backgrounds on BF Vista are really annoying, they are obnoxious and constantly changing. I think its annoying; for what its worth though, i'm back to running subsilver2. BF Vista just seems really cheesy to me. Monolith is horrible. I can't imagine how anyone could ever use that. I'm giving prosilver a chance, but I'll probably go back to subsilver.
