  1. The Ravens are going to start a fight with the refs at this point. This is getting humorous.
  2. Shula quietly steaming in the booth.
  3. Haha. He threw the ref's flag into the stands.
  4. NO surprise there. It was inevitable.
  5. Refs are helping NE now.
  6. This game is crazy. I don't care who wins either way, but I'm still on the edge of my seat.
  7. Wow. The Ravens had them stopped. Nice timeout call.
  8. Starting to look like New England is going down tonight.
  9. Have to take the injuries last year into factor too. He only played in 90 games.
  10. He's cheaper and has a much more favorable contract.
  11. Michigan got permission from USC to talk to their OC, Steve Sarkisian today. I highly doubt that he'd leave USC in the first place, and I really doubt Michigan would hire a guy with no head-coaching experience and limited coordinator experience. He has worked in the NFL and was the QB coach at USC during the Palmer, Leinert, and Booty years. Still, highly doubtful though.
  12. Petersen not interested in UCLA job. Sorry Raisin. Better cross him off the list.
  13. I wonder if they'll consider keeping him One would hope so. Given that teams are lining up to trade for him, the logical conclusion is that he's a valuable commodity. But, knowing the Cubs, they'll non-tender him because he doesn't play right field or hit left-handed. Prior's fools gold, I hope the Cubs get what they can for him. I don't think he's quite fools gold, but I don't have a problem with the Cubs trading him. There just aren't that many success stories when it comes to pitchers coming back from serious shoulder injury. Plus I think both sides are pretty much ready to move on at this point.
  14. The deal makes no sense on the Rangers end. Why would they want to take on an aging, injury-plagued 3rd baseman who's getting paid very well? Duncan is decent, but he's not good enough to take Rolen with him.
  15. Wow. Looks like things are quickly picking up.
  16. I ask because I see people on boards claiming that it's reported that Santana has basically told that to the Twins. Are they just pulling this out of their butts? Rotoworld: Also from Rotoworld:
  17. with hendry basically announcing that murton's not in the cubs' plans, i don't see how he could. Yep. That combined with Hendry not realizing he has a decent player in Murton, and we're pretty much guaranteed to get nothing in return for Murton.
  18. Hart should be fine by the bowl game. It's Henne I'm worried about. A Mallett-lead team is going to get destroyed by Florida if Henne can't go. He's a tough guy though, so you know he's going to do whatever it takes to play in the game. Florida's secondary's the weak link. Mallett would be able to move the ball on them decently. Hart will be a non-factor. Even if healthy. Hart will be a factor, only because Carr is still running the show. It won't matter that Florida's secondary is the weak link. Expect to see a lot of run left in the game. I didn't say Carr wouldn't run the ball. He just won't have success. The Gators are excellent against the run (Moreno excluded) and they know it's coming, ie they'll stack the line. You're missing my point. I'm saying it won't matter that Florida's secondary is the weakest link because Carr is too stupid or bullheaded to exploit other teams' weaknesses. He goes in with a game plan to run the ball in every game, no matter what the circumstances are. If you watched the OSU/Michigan game at all, that was a perfect example. He kept trying to run left even though OSU stopped them on every down.
  19. My head is going to explode. How can someone be this stupid? I can't take this stupidity. Half a year until we get new owners. Half a year until we get new owners. Half a year until we get new owners.

  22. I like Miles for his 'freshness' he would of brought the program offensively and defensively. I could of lived with his crazy game strategies. I like Kelly too. I hear conflicting reports that he's not a candidate and some others say he is. Terry Foster of the Detroit News says he is as of late last night, in fact his sources are telling him Kelly is the next in line.....But we all know how good sources are now. Yeah, I read his blog saying "Kelly was the next in line." I would absolutely love that, but I just don't see Martin bringing in a guy like Kelly.
  23. I'm going into the game fully expecting the 5th straight bowl-game loss.
