  1. The Lions should be leading more than they are. There have been some ridiculous non-calls on obvious pass interference. The Lions had to settle for a field goal on one of the occasions when they should have had 1st and goal on the 1-foot line.
  2. You should change your name to FukuPower if Fuku comes to the Cubs and Prior gets non-tendered or traded.
  3. See, everyone assumes that the Cubs aren't doing everything they can to bring Prior back, but it's become quite evident that Prior wants out, and if that's the case it's time to just move on.
  4. :( Damn. This stuff was all unattributed speculation from Paul Sullivan. I'd love to here where he got the "June at the earliest" bit. I haven't heard one piece of reliable information on Prior's rehab for weeks. I wonder the same thing. That would mean he'd be out for longer than a year after the surgery, and I don't think recovery from shoulder surgery takes longer than a year. shoulder surgery seems to be much tougher to come back from than elbow surgery. Just ask Wade Miller.
  5. Rotoworld: Guess he really doesn't want to play in Milwaukee.
  6. I actually think the design is really cool. It's very different from what we see nowadays. I would actually go to a Rays game if I were down in Florida to see that ballpark.
  7. Well, Michigan kept it close for a couple minutes. That's at least something.
  8. Let's hope he plays like he did with the Red Sox and not how he pitched with the Rangers.
  9. How do you know they didn't offer him that? It just seems like Prior is ready to move on. It's time to let him go.
  10. Michigan has lost four straight bowl games so they have that in common with ND as well. Let's not kid ourselves. It's soon to be 5 straight bowl games.
  11. Former UM players livid with coaching search It has to get better at some point, right? #-o
  12. Apple is the only pie I like. Anything made from pumpkin is disgusting. I don't understand how people eat it.
  13. Doesn't this basically guarantee the Roberts trade will go down sometime soon?
  14. he's going to be an extremely well-paid kaz matsui.
  15. Oh, you're worse. Notre Dame only had one coach turn them down. Also, their wait between Losingham and Weis was 18 days and UM is now on their 19th with really no end in sight. yeah, we're probably worse at this point. we had the whole Miles fiasco, and now have been turned down by Ferentz and Schiano. at this point they'll probably offer the job to English and he'll turn them down too. might as well bring Carr back out of retirement for a year and try all this next year.
  16. DeBord needs to go no matter who is brought in. The run-left, zone-blocking scheme just doesn't work. He's been terrible in his time at U of M. I dont know if its the run left zone blocking scheme that doesnt work. Its that everyone knows what play Michigan is going to run that doesnt work. What I find incredible is how good their offense looks when they are forced to open it up and play 3 or 4 receiver sets. Almost unstoppable. I think the smartest coaching job I have seen in awhile was Pete Carroll last year in the Rose Bowl. He knew he could score at will against Michigan. He also knew Michigan could probably score at will against them if they opened it up. So he kept the game close for a half with a conservative offense. Kept Michigan in a run mode. He came out and opened it up in the 3rd quarter. Michigan was down 2 scores before they finally opened up their offense. Except it was too late. If USC goes up 2 scores in the first half that game probably would have turned into a shootout that Michigan may have caught up with them Yep. It's amazing how easy it is for Michigan to march down the field when they start spreading out the receivers and actually throw the ball down the field instead of just throwing 5-yard outs. But for some reason we decide that because we're Michigan and that we've always been a run team that we have to keep running the ball even though the entire stadium knows exactly what play we're going call. It's maddening.
  17. This sucks. We had all these rumors on Wednesday night and now nothing.
  18. DeBord needs to go no matter who is brought in. The run-left, zone-blocking scheme just doesn't work. He's been terrible in his time at U of M.
  19. Paul Johnson agrees to 3-year contract at Georgia Tech I'm sure he'll change his mind in a couple hours as well.
  20. Michigan plays Duke tomorrow. I'm sure that'll be a close game. :pig:
  21. 5 years and $75 million for an unknown commodity? That's nuts.
  22. Schiano tentatively accepted Michigan job on Wednesday, had a change of heart on Thursday. Ridiculous. It's the 2nd time in a week that coaches have said no to Michigan. We're starting to look more and more like Notre Dame every minute.
  23. And Schiano has decided to stay at Rutgers. That didn't take long. I'm guessing he was just using Michigan to help get the money for their stadium renovations.
  24. There's also random news that Michigan is interested in the Saints Sean Payton. Detroit News Don't see that happening at all.
