  1. Just make sure Gracie stays away from Eyre and Ward. . . .
  2. Ha! He's working on it. He hasn't stuck with left or right just yet. He likes me to do super slow-mo replays of the MVP 2005 pitching motions. . . . he's hooked, baby!!!!!
  3. he's all boy http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/bhogg/windup1.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/bhogg/windup3.jpg http://myspace-671.vo.llnwd.net/00385/17/63/385943671_l.jpg
  4. tons and tons of curly hair :D
  5. Hey guys and gals. Just letting everyone know that our little girl, McKenzye Faith was born yesterday at 9:05. She's 6 pounds 12 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. She'll be firmly planted in my lap, along with Ryne, on 4/2 to watch the Cubs destroy the Reds! http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/bhogg/100_2925.jpg McKenzye Faith http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y169/bhogg/100_2933.jpg McKenzye, Ryne, and I
  6. I'm watching the Disney thing before the game. . . . . I'm amazed at Scott Eyre's complete lack of an athletic body. He's all belly. Seems like a super nice guy, however. It makes me wonder what kind of athlete he'd be if he were in a little bit better shape.
  7. sounds like it's just like the running shirts I use -- wicking material I think. they are super comfortable.
  8. i think the cubs will win the division because I have a chihuahua named "stitch"
  9. oh, behave, baby. . . .. yeah!
  10. barry has a better set of knockers, too
  11. I was gonna bid 500K, but he has 0 feedback. Too bad for him.
  12. Just speculating, but maybe Jones is not a "lou player." Maybe Jones doesn't want to be a part of the team.
  13. I'd like to know when Adam Greenburg takes a dump. I think poop is cool.
  14. I really doubt that Rose bet on his team to win EVERY night. That, in itself, is extremely important. On nights that the he didn't bet on the Reds, maybe it gave the bookies a little insight on that night's Red's game. . . . if Pete didn't believe enough to bet for them, by not betting he was actually betting against them.
  15. i finally went with G'Town over Florida in the finals. This will be the first year that all of my various bracket groups will have the same bracket. I'm in one group where multiple brackets are allowed so I may go with all favorites in that one. . who knows.
  16. i'm struggling with this bracket. My brain says Florida is the top team. However, I've watched them play and I think they're beatable. That and winning 2 titles in a row is dang near impossible. Kansas doesn't do anything for me. I can see them losing early. Ohio State is scary, but they just don't look "right" sitting in the final 4 --- I know, that's some major bracketological reasoning on my part :) I keep coming back to G'Town. Everywhich way I do my brackets, they are the team that I keep putting on top. I just don't know if a team goes from 2 sweet 16's in 15 years to winning it all. I think UCLA has a fairly easy route to the final 4. They're record against the top 25 is top notch. They have a very well balanced team. They make sense. . . . . but I don't have them winning it all. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
  17. Prior looks like he has the upper body of a 3rd grade boy. What's the deal there? http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20070310/capt.aztg10803102357.cubs_royals_spring_baseball_aztg108.jpg
  18. Mike Marshall was the slowest player I've ever watched. . .. even slower than Keith Moreland AND Jody Davis! http://www.baseball-reference.com/bpv/images/e/e1/Marshallmikea.jpg Who knew he was a pitching expert? ;)
  19. so easy (and fun) to make fun of ugly rich people :)
  20. when I can't find my dusty dice, I choose to go with gut feel and hunches.
  21. I see a few similarities between Murton and Sandberg.
  22. would this growth hormone work on russell the love muscle? not that I need any. . . . .
  23. He deserves it. Afterall, the Cubs have been in first place since the day he took over.
  24. I think the HOF needs to step up with some accountability. These dipwads -- writers and former players -- owe it to the fans to give a full account of who they voted for and why. I don't give a rat's ass about Joe Morgan and his "we're not gonna lower the standards" bull crap. Screw that. It begins and ends with the fans. Yes, the players love the game. They play the game. However, if not for the fans, the players would just be really really really good rec players. Without fans, the Baseball writers might be writers. . . then again, they might be garbage men. Without the fans, they have no one to read their columns. So, in short, players and writers owe a sincere debt of gratitude to the fans. This includes accountability on the Hall of Fame. The hall is for the fans. If it were for the players, there would only be 82 bodies filing through the HOF gates this upcoming year. I'm sick and tired of the fans getting the shaft. Of course, in the end, I will still watch. . . . will still spend a little money. . . . and still will get tossed to the side in the end.
  25. I like pie. I'd like to have my pie and eat it, too. And a cup of coffee.
