I could be way off, but I think that last year when we were 14-9, we had the reverse problem. We had been outscored, but managed to have a good record. We all know how last year turned out :(

Don't forget, his numbers are declining "just a little." HAHAHAHAHAHAAH. 42 hrs to 29 to 19. 111 RBI to 89 to 70. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh, and those 2006 numbers -- .257 / 19 / 70 were "VERY GOOD" numbers according to Thom. -
Z didn't look good to me. He left everything up. . . didn't get on top of the ball. . . pretty much threw upright. I hope his back isn't bothering him this season. Back trouble sucks a major rod.

wow, you learn something new everyday. I could have sworn that DLee hurt his wrist on a 1st base collision with Furcal. Thank you mr brenneman, for telling me he hurt it by being hit by a pitch.

if my recent season of MVP 05 is any indication, Theriot should be the starting 2b and hit leadoff. He'll hit .308 with 21 hr, 65 rbi, 119 runs, and 80 steals. Soriano will follow him at .298 / 44 / 118. DLee will follow with the triple crown --- .336 / 51 / 124. Cubs win the Central going away -- 98 wins. It's a dream world. . . . . . and it's all I got. . . .

at what point does Lou just lose it? I'm talking ass-whipping, cuss word tirade, base throwing, face punching, heart attack having kind of losing it? It will no doubt be the highlight of the season.

Losers lose. Period. The end. I don't care about ERA, run differentials, or any other bullcrap. The world is full of losers. 25 of them reside at Clark and Addison. I pray they prove me wrong, but until further notice, the Cubs are losers. Maybe this is a rant.

Yeah, man, what's so funny about it? Murton has a nice approach at the plate, plays within himself, works hard, has a little speed. . . nothing that just wows you, but when the day is done, he produces. Theriot is a guy who's been given a chance and jumped all over it. He's not the most talented guy out there, but he busts his tail. He uses what he has and gets the most out of it. Both have similarities to Sandberg in his early days. My comment isn't funny. . . . . .the pissing match between IMB and 98Navigator in the "Dlee Homer Watch" thread is funny ;)

Yah, he has Phd in Kinesioloygy (the physics/mechanics of human motion) from Marshall as well as being a former major league pitcher, Cy Young Winner, and All Star. Truly an "idiot." Rothschild has credentials that merrit a tad more than the "awful" label that you placed on him.

it is quite refreshing to have a manager who identifies a problem and immediately begins remedies to eliminate the problem.
