  1. I almost forgot my user name and password. Who's going to clean up the cobwebs in here?
  2. You need to upgrade your receivers especially for a 8 team league. I would think you could have a better 3rd RB as well. We had our office draft last Friday and it is an 8 team league. I also had the 8th pick. Here is what I ended up with: Starters: QB Matt Ryan RB DeAngelo Williams RB LaDainian Tomlinson WR Calvin Johnson WR Roddy White WR Vincent Jackson TE Greg Olsen K Mason Crosby DEF Chicago Bench: RB Steve Slaton RB Felix Jones RB Ray Rice WR Chad Ochocinco WR Percy Harvin TE Zach Miller
  3. Raw is saying he doesn't believe Jennings will be there for his 2nd pick.
  4. :-)) I hope that guy fired his GM.
  5. I would go Jennings/Jacobs as well. You already have a RB as a keeper and Jennings should have a big year with the continued improvement of Rodgers. Jacobs should also get increased carries as mentioned above but he has also been working off season on his hands and catching the ball out of the backfield. He could end up with an additional 20-25 receptions this season which will also increase his value in a PPR league.
  6. I have a member of our league that has two teams in the league (him & his son). Will they be able to draft for both teams from one computer? Also, as commissioner, do I have any power to help them make picks if they cannot do both teams? Thanks for any input.
  7. I would have taken a WR at #2 and then QB in the 3rd or 4th.
  8. PPR League: Peterson Forte Jones-Drew Turner A.Johnson
  9. Agreed.
  10. You gotta give the guy credit. It was great timing with the ball getting there just after the beer.

  22. Rules of Exemption: Players with 3 or fewer years of service (as determined by the year they lost rookie eligibility) will be considered exempt. This means that once a player has lost rookie eligibility (130 AB/50 IP), he will have 3 exemptions from counting against your point total. After his 3rd exemption has expired, his points will begin to count against your keeper points allowed. There must have been a miscommunication. As stated above from the League Rules thread, once a player loses his rookie eligibility as Lester did in 2006 when he pitched 81+ innings, the player has three exemptions (2007,2008 & 2009). That being said I would hardly say your draft is ruined.
  23. 2009 counts against their exempt status so technically you need to reduce those numbers by one. For example, Jon Lester went over the 50 IP mark in 2006. That means he was exempt for the 2007, 2008 & 2009 seasons. He will count against your cap for 2010.
