  2. I would go Turner without question. With Pat Williams out the Falcons can double team Kevin Williams and I see Turner having a big game.
  3. Thanks Hosak. My Dad had a double bypass 25 years ago when he was 41. I was only 11-12 at the time so I wasn't fully aware of everything that was going on. This has been my first dealing with a sick parent as the aging child and it sucks. My Sister is no help either being 1300 miles away in Chicago and not even asking if there was anything she could do to help. He was discharged Saturday and will staying with us through January. I told him next time he wants to spend Christmas at my place try something less stressfull.
  4. Nice job RAW. Here is my championship matchup (my team listed first): Chemical Persuasion (9-4) vs. Gridiron Guru (11-2) QB Cutler vs. Warner WR Marshall vs. Edwards WR Mason 19 vs. Evans WR Owens 18 vs. Moore RB Slaton vs. Forte RB Grant vs. Portis TE Clark 32 vs. Z.Miller K Feely vs. Hartley D Abraham vs. F.Keiaho 10 D Clements vs. D.Jackson D Taylor vs. S.Cooper DB Dawkins vs. G.Wilson DB Atogwe vs. B.Meriweather DB Gamble vs. N.Harper DL Allen vs. Vilma DL Kiwanuka vs. D.Harris Projected Points = 261 vs. 259 Actual to date = 69 vs. 10
  5. Jiddy got your request but doesn't know all the ins and outs of the league. I have to admit I have been a bit lax on sending him what he needs. The last 3-4 weeks have been rough with Thanksgiving, fiscal year end at work and my Dad's triple bypass. Things have calmed a bit so he's going to send me some questions he has and I'll get him the info.
  6. Wheeler and Cordero are non-exempt.
  7. I'd go with Forte and the Bears D against the Pack.
  8. I'd go with Evans. I did. DOH! At least it didn't effect any of my games. Made Championship game in one league and got bounced in the first round of another.
  9. Ok.....Lee Evans against the 31st rank passing defense of the Jets in Jersey (light wind, 43 degrees and 10% precip) or Tory Holt against the 32nd rank passing defense of the Seahawks in the Dome?
  10. I fear to comment on these since there are too many of my league counterparts posting here. If I divulge my sleepers and busts how can I continue to screw them in trades? 8-[ Hey RAW, I just sent you a trade offer. ;)
  11. Talk about being inactive. viewtopic.php?p=2032460#p2032460
  12. The trading can't possibly be over yet. ;)
  13. I may have found a replacement for Ocho Loco. I will be sending him a league invite this weekend. He's a good guy and I've posted with him on Sports-Boards.net and WSI for a few years now. He is a Bear fan and fellow White Sox fan.
  14. Go for it! I'll continue to search for fresh blood while you recruit former members.

  16. Whew....I feel better!
  17. Since you are the thread creator, you have the ability to do so. Click on "edit" and go to options just under the smiles. Then look to the right and it should say "Change topic type to". Select sticky and there you go.
  18. The search is still ongoing.
  19. 7-3 and tied for 2nd in league one. 14 team league with IDP. Started 1-2 and have won 4 straight. 6-4 and tied for 2nd in league two. 10 team league. Started 3-0 until Parker and Addai started getting hurt.
  20. Deal: BronxDSB receives Justin Morneau, Trevor Cahill, 1st round pick (#11) and 4th round pick (#39). Soxoholics receive 1st round pick (#3) and Joe Koshansky.
  21. My running backs have killed me all season. My first three picks in the draft have been busts (Addai, Braylon Edwards, Willie Parker) but I have survived and I'm sitting in 2nd place at 6-4. Things were going smoothly until week 4. Here are the other running backs I have tried since week 4: Chris Perry Jonathan Stewart Rudi Johnson Kevin Faulk Jamaal Charles BenJarvis Green-Ellis Luckily I have a strong receiving core and Jay Cutler at QB. Last week my starting RBs score ZERO points and I still won my game. I am starting Addai this week against Houston and Green-Ellis against J-E-T-S. I am hoping next week I have Addai and Parker back full strength.
  22. I hope It is. Especially the interior dline. Correct Correct Fixed Doesn't mean it's right. The D-line has had trouble pressuring the QB all season and I do not see this changing on Sunday. Plus what has Grossman shown to make anyone think he will be better? The Packers will stack the box and force the Bears to beat them through the air. With Grossman at the helm and a lack of a deep threat the Bears will again be held to three scores or less. With the way the Bears defense has been playing (minus Lance Briggs) the Bears will lose. How big do those two boneheaded losses to the Bucs and Falcons look now? ](*,)
  23. :beg: :-k  :scare: :banned:
  24. Bowe vs. San Diego.....should be a shootout in Southern California.
