I think there's one logical exception to this. If a person's roster is illegal prior to a trade, but the trade itself would make the roster legal (for example, a player is one above the limit but would be trading two players for one) then I think it should be allowed.I disagree - it encourages people like me to hoard talent that I can then use in 2-1 or 3-1 trades. Yeah, that sounds a lot more like the reason for the rule than an exception. Aren't all these rules in place to keep Tim honest?

I know....I meant a no brainer for me. After King Felix and Beckett I have two question marks in Liriano and Gonzalez and some talent that could be arriving later this season in Hellickson/Crow/Poreda, maybe even Crosby but I think he'll arrive in 2011. Jeter is like the energizer bunny. I was expecting you to go infield. I thought Czar would have grabbed Markakis.

yea, thats the idea Just so everyone knows the hold up, I'm waiting to see what two players Deven is dropping before I make my pick. I was ready to pick all day yesterday, but if one of the players Deven drops is better than the guy in my queue, I don't want to miss out on my opportunity at one of his guys. Not to be a stick in the mud but hasn't the 24 hour window closed? Deven went on the clock yesterday at 9:30am or so and made his pick last night around 11pm when at the same time he should have dropped the minor leaguers he was over on his roster. Is that correct?
