To be honest, if there was a move out there that I really wanted to make and it's in a gray area, I'd probably make the move and then ask if it is okay. Okay, fair enough....but if you then found out that it was an "unwritten" rule and most everyone else opposed such move would you then reverse it?

If there was something you wanted to do and you didn't see it covered in the rules, wouldn't the first course of action be to simply ask someone? Especially when you see that no one else is picking up players other than playoff active teams?

I don't see the correlation here. How is this a loophole? Why couldn't you, or for that matter, wouldn't you improve your team by trading a player you don't want to keep for a pick if there is another team out there that wants that player instead of taking a chance of not getting that player in the draft.

Gonzalez & Cueto Gonzalez has been pitching very well of late and also has a great pitching record versus Cleveland and Texas. At this point I would take any starter against the Cubs. The rest of this season is not going to be pretty.
